You needed to expect these crowds on a Saturday night. It seems like most of your problems were crowd related, and you thought it would be desserted. Were there any positives to the trip, such as short coaster lines?

^I second Volcano, but mostly for that fact that it just meanders around at the top of the Volcano for a bit, and drops almost 100 feet straight into a brake run. Who's idea was that?
