Kings Island (KI) Discussion Thread

^ kind of what I was thinking too, or falling icicles but I guess icicles could happen on any of them. -
I saw Bohemian Rhapsody this weekend and if you're a Queen fan I highly recommend it. It was such an awesome movie and I learned a whole lot more about them. The best part is that Brian and Roger were listed as executive producers so I have a feeling it pretty much stuck to a lot of the actual history of the band. Very very good movie. I give it a rating of Millennium Force.

Black bears are herbivores so unless a cub is being threatened they are kind of not aggressive but I still wouldn't get too close. -
Kings Island (KI) Discussion Thread

A few years ago my ex-wife and I were participated in Coasting For Kids it seemed like the side closest to Dinosaurs Alive seemed to hit the bottom pretty hard at the bottom of the drop or the first bunny hill before the climb into the turn around. We were pretty sore after riding Racer all day. -
It's no surprise honestly. The Fair Board is the reason why Six Flags abandoned the park suddenly and took Chang and the Roadrunner Express coaster with them. It's also the reason why the Koch's also pulled out of the deal when they were thinking about taking it over but at least Ed Hart knows the headaches of dealing with the Fair Board and is good at dealing with them and playing their game with them.

I agree about First Man, it was a tragedy him losing his daughter at a very young age but it really seemed to set the tone of the movie and kind of made the moon landing kind of anti-climatic honestly.

I think a dark ride themed to Santa's yearly flight with all the reindeer and Rudolph too would be cool for Christmas area just not sure where they would put it. -

I think the only reason why I was thinking the Beast, The Racer, or The Vortex is because of #ItsBigItsGone. I was thinking of size wise and shock weight of the announcement. It's going to be interesting. -

Hmm, this is an interesting tweet, I'm thinking Racer, Vortex, or Beast (shall we start donning riot gear now or later if it is Beast?): Don Helbig @DonHelbig Rumors confirmed. A roller coaster will be removed at Kings Island. #KingsIsland #RestInPiecesKI #ItsBigItsGone #RIP2018KI -
I love how just when you think that they've covered all of the possible concepts someone comes up with a brand new one. I was confused about the laps and races too. What I'm thinking is the 2 launches are considered a separate race not necessarily that you're going to go through the whole course twice like a Moebius strip but I could be wrong.

I completely agree with you Robb, I enjoyed it but it seemed like they just threw everything into a big pot and said let's see what we can make with this. It's a very hard story line to keep up with. I haven't seen Guardians of the Galaxy 2 or Black Panther so I kind of felt like I was missing things without that.

TPR Cruising on the Disney Magic!
mikeykaise replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well, it's both. You are given your rotation schedule at the start of the cruise, and since all the restaurants seat 1/3 of the ship's guests fairly equally, everyone in that rotation will pretty much rotate together to the next restaurant and your staff goes with you. And it's not like the entire group is sitting at one table or anything it's just an entire restaurant full of people. I hope I'm answering you correctly, the question was worded a bit confusing, sorry. Thanks Rob, that's an awesome idea and a cool way of doing it. You caught my drift, I just couldn't put the question into the right words in my head. I would love to take my family on a Disney cruise one of these days. -

I think the rotating wait staff is an awesome idea as this allows your server to get to know your likes and dislikes quickly. I was just curious if you get put into a group that rotates through the restaurants or is it just where one server is assigned to you personally? -

This is why you find things in Europe that you can't do in America, people here are way too sue happy and want to sue others for their own stupidity.
