  1. I felt my stomach knot up followed by severe nausea looking at that thing... nice job.. "Just looking at new concept spinning ride #1 makes me feel sick."
  2. Cody for the win: EPIC! And where did all this bickering about the F'ing color come from? GET OVER IT, PLEASE. If you're talking about bland colors, go to Japan where you can find entire parks where the coasters are WHITE. Please. Instead of complaining about the colors: Let's talk about the greatness of SkyRush- and for that matter, the rest of HP.
  3. You're missing two things.... A hose to wash down the platform after every dispatch return...and the puke trough at the exit for those who didn't protein spill on the platform. (Beyond nauseating concept for a ride... I mean that) Looks good, though. Looking forward to seeing you upload it to the Exchange when your finished.
  4. Dump the track between the loop and the spike- ASAP! As much as the pictures show a longer curve on His shuttle loops, it looks really weird in RCT II to have it there- it doesn't fit right. As for the weight-drop tower, that's for you to decide. Based upon when you're installing it (If the park is a timeline park, of course) it may be superfolous. 1978 was the year the weight drop disappeared- in favor of the much more popular (And easier for repairs!) flywheel catapult type system. Generally, since RCT II uses the box-beam loop that He designed, I'd drop the weight tower, unless the coaster itself is a period piece. Praise be to Anton. R.D.
  5. The Schwarzkopf Coaster makes me sad. Re-think it, and take a look at a few that are done with less 'empty' track between the loop and the tower; the ride doesn't quite fit the scale of the Schwarzkopf 'standard' models. I have an accurate to scale Schwarzkopf Shuttle Loop in the exchange- it's not themed, but it will give you a better model to work with, shuttle-loop wise. Other than that, the park is looking good- R.D.
  6. Yeah- Safari's been giving me issues for a while now, so I've now got Chrome as well to balance out the universe... Safari is faster for some things, but sucks with others- especially processing files and FB stuff.
  7. Very odd, I think- I did leftcllick here, and it worked vine (Win 7) as a NL file- I wonder if it's Apple being Apple again?
  8. Awesome adventure... I remember ions ago small parks like that all over the place, basically over-sized kiddielands with small coasters, and cheezy attractions around a central theme of... nothing. This looks like a better interpretation of these places, and one that's amazing to see all over.
  9. ^ INteresting interpretation of the LIM bowl coaster from Premier- I like it!
  10. Epic food porn. End of story. I've been looking at doing this next year- as it looks like the kind of food-porn I'm always looking for... and this just sealed it. R.D.
  11. Re: Coasters in your park- The tower end of the Schwarzkopf shuttle loop- I'd re-think the structure on it. If you don't have cs for the structure, I'd leave it as-is with the standards of the ride- Schwarzkopf did not as a general rule use box-system/girder construction for His coasters, and never used it on the shuttle loop coasters. As for the launch track, you can sort of give it a more traditional look by using brake sections timed to 54 mph (Therefore they don't close!) to make the structure look beefier there. Also- be sure the two shuttle towers aren't overly tall- that's a common mistake on most RCT II Schwarzkopf shuttle loops- and one that tends to stand out in a park. On the Intamin Hypercoaster: In the first shot you posted, I'd re-think the left turn, short rise, right turn- and see if you can make that a level area. The negative G pop there will affect your rides ratings- and smoothing it out will make it look better. On the same theme, in the second shot, your track rises up, flattens out for one and then continues rising. I'd either make it into a double-up element, or place that flat section elsewhere in the block area- it doesn't really fit the ride itself.
  12. Another thing I found worked -very- well for my own K'nex looping coasters was graphite lubricants: You can get a tube of this usually at hobby shops or related; it's sold in the same area as the Pinewood Derby wooden cars. It can (and DOES) reduce friction quite a bit. In addition, if pennies aren't your speed (no pun intended!) smaller heavyweights are also available (and usually in the same locations) which are self-adhesive. Those work very well at weighting the car down and are much smaller, perfect for K'nex coasters. R.D.
  13. "Praise be to Anton, Amen." Your Schwarzkopf coaster makes me sad. 1.) Re-think the blocking systems a notch, and re-define your brake run: Instead of how it's currently configured, raise the brake run to the same height as your platform, and block/chain lift the thing: You can put four trains on your coaster that way, and boost capacity, not to mention make the ride look more in line with His Dreier Looping class of coasters. You might also want to do the same thing with the midcourse blocks: He didn't rely heavily on braking in His designs, and those blocks are easily Arrow-strength. R.D.
  14. The more I see of this, the more I want to go to Dubai... Indoor complex type parks are fascinating, and it almost looks like they got this one right.
  15. Looking great- I'm interested to see how the plot develops as the era of the modern steel coaster is born (A year ago, if the dates are correct).
  16. A few minor 'items' that sort of catch me as being potentially either painful, or not built (Not realistic): On the log flume, you have a single point lift hill segment before the platform turn. As far as I can remember, I've yet to see any flume with a single segment lift hill on them- usually, water and gravity do the work. Either adjust your drop on the flume, or raise the path that's over it, so your flume no longer requires that lift section. On your wooden coaster, you have (again) a single point rise into the banked U-turn, and that screams pain. You might want to revise that to either feature a rising/diving helix (Depending on directon of travel, or remove that part ot the element completely. R.D.
  17. I think it died naturally- as in: People lost interest with it. If you're looking for a new Game Exchange contest: A new TPR challenge will begin next Monday, 17 October. In the meantime, the final Track of the Week Contest is being run now: Theme up an Arrow Mine Train/Arrow Hypercoaster DRESSED and BUILT as a Mine Train, and have a chance at a TPR Bag of Crap. R.D. GFMT
  18. I saw your casino winnings so don't give me that AGREED COMPLETELY.
  19. RCDB changes every time you go- so I'd not expect to get my answers from there!
  20. The question has been asked twice already....
  21. Beatle: One guess at a time. Don't randomly guess: ASK QUESTIONS!
  22. I have to say those coasters looked like somebody bought up a whole bunch of wacky worms and re-assembled the track to to create two coasters- very cool to say the least!
  23. Black Diamond is OFFICIALLY Listed on the halloween Map- 2.50 per ride...
  24. If the ride is designed right in the first place, you won't NEED an OTSR. Thus why Vekoma coasters nearly always have them... and Schwarzkopfs RARELY have them.
  25. ENCROYIBLE! Outstanding (No pun intended) job on the Screamroller trains- just flawless. This might be one of the finest models I've seen yet- and one of the most accurate I've seen of a Corkscrew working model! R.D.
