  1. Nah... Nope... but you've got the format down right... No- but you're getting warmer...
  2. Nobody's figured it out.... yet! Surprisingly, it's not that... LOL As much as people would like it to be! REMEMBER: You have to submit your answers like THE ONE ABOVE: TIME, VIDEO # and the ATTRACTION!
  3. Yup. But not at IAAPA this year (If I recall correctly) Nope... but I do like those new trains myself! Yes! No.
  4. Ahhhh- All rides have to deal with capacity, now don't they? HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH- Wait... they have DIGNITY???? (The answer is NO to your question....) Inside Nope. Epic fail question: Rethink that one...
  5. It does not involve a giant drop/freefall ride. Nope. I don't do water... Yes and no... one has to re-think that question a notch or two... Huh???? Actually- it DOES! Not to me she doesn't! Re-think that one for a second...
  6. Second round starts... NOW! What ride/attraction am I thinking of??
  7. Remember to give a reason you said this answer- instead of simply 'saying it' R.D.
  8. Contest voting will be up tommorow: Battling bad net issues here that are congesting things for me (I'm starting to hate Cox internet)
  9. Outstanding views of SFGam again Chad- and lovely to see the park when it's not packed to the rafters with people (My last visit there... ugh!). Sorry to hear you missed out on Wolfpocalypse, though- I've always enjoyed it, and there's nothing quite like it's finale to make me squeal in delight. And the Schwarzporn was NIIIICEEEE! R.D.
  10. Way to step on my buzz... snf snf snf.... Although Comet II is also not a bad option, either. For a Shuttle loop II/Flywheel model to fit, the plot has to be around 750x20 give or take a foot. With a platform, add another 20 ft at the station area. For a WildCat III, the plot would have to be 210x60, platform area included. And mind you, the neighbours might have something to say about this: Anton's shuttles all tended to be around 140 ft at max height- whereas a WildCat maxes out at 68 ft (Depending on model/location of lift/cupola, etc.) Then there's the "HOLY HELL" idea: Buy both rides, and see the moving van with my stuff moving in next door...
  11. The only one I know of that's in storage in Texas is Greased Lightn' and was listed for sale not long ago. I've also heard rumors over the last few years of an old Wildcat that may be in storage in Texas. Outside of that, I suppose it's possible Larson is building something at their plant for Chance Rides which would indicate it could be a Vekoma Suspended Family along the lines of Steel Lasso at Frontier City. **Edit** IRM has Greased Lightin' listed for sale here, maybe they sold it and have not removed it from their site. If you happen to come across their booth at IAAPAAAA maybe they could say if they've sold it or not. I've written them in the past and asked about rides they've sold and they've been great to respond back. Hmmmmm.... Another reason to go to Florida, if this is true (And I DO hope we preserve a Schwarzkopf shuttle Loop...at minimum.)
  12. There is ALWAYS a good reason to pay tribute to a coaster- Especially a Schwarzkopf Crown Jewel such as ShockWave at SFOT. "In the name of our Lord and Saviour, Anton Schwarzkopf, Amen." R.D.
  13. Outstanding coverage again, TPR IAAPA crew... looking good all around. The new Spin N' Spews are looking nauseating as usual- including that thing from KMG that has "F&$K no way" written all over it (It is NOT a QR approved ride concept...) and some of the new waterslides make me want to venture into some of these parks.
  14. TPR CHALLENGE is CLOSED! Be sure to check in soon to vote- there are two potential winners here, so make sure to get the word out to all your friends! (BTW: I hear that CPM is having a blast at IAAPA- and seems to be thinking about a new coaster again....) R.D.
  15. Awesome: I just caught up on the past three TR additions... and needless to say, you've left open room for jokes! It's a shame. I know some people enjoy playing with other people's balls, but I can respect not wanting to toss anybody's balls around but your own... (Sorry, but i HAD to do it. Kinda like Jager Shots: You know the results, but you HAVE to do it!) R.D.
  16. ^ Very nice- very much in tune with what He would have built- but you might consider bringing it down a notch: It appears to be a bit high for a Speedracer class coaster- that is, Speedracer coasters typically had a shorter lift height due to the length of time it took to ascend the rotary lifts (Even the 'tallest' of the Speedracer series were four full revolutions around, and even that could be a bit long.) Also: Avoid the 'tilted' inclines/banked rises: Flatten it out and then bank again into the curve. "In the name of the Lord, Our Saviour, Anton Schwarzkopf. Amen."
  17. LESS THAN 36 HOURS LEFT.... HAVE YOU UPLOADED YOUR PARK YET???? BTW: There are two prizes on the line here: One by vote, one by Moderator's Choice... R.D. GFMT
  18. OK everyone- I'm out of here for 10 days- Headed to San Francisco for medical stuff etc. but will be on occasion checking in/sending mail & messages. E-mail me if you need anything quickly, and if y'all could keep an eye out on the TPR Challenge, I'd mightly appreciate it! Thanks!
  19. In this case, it's the land that's expensive, plus the faltering economy, tied in with the ouija board that's being used to predict the future... (IN other words: It wouldn't be a challenge if you DIDN'T have at least one obstacle or more in your way, now would it?)
  20. I visited the Tropicana while construction for this was going on in 1987- then again in 1990 once the mini-Zierer coaster was added (BTW: You missed NOTHING!). The Biggest Six wheel sat in the middle of the atrium- and looked very similar to one of the money wheels that our "over 21" members would have seen inside the casino- all in all, it was an attempted diversion for the families- but like LV's attempt at parks- was a total bust. I was glad to have logged in this credit, though- as it's just about as rare as the Lightning Bolt at MGM-LV.
  21. And I totally concur with this. If anything, I just wanted to do my usual song and dance so NE has record that we do like them (and I do), and that we're just a seperate community that isn't so "high strung." In any event, it's forced me to finally register so I can download stuff there! And that's the thing: After getting a decent explanation from their MODS there about their policy, I can understand some of their rules etc. And I don't have a problem with that- at all. They are for the most part specialists in a particular style of RCT II- and I think it's great we have them for that. It's a handful of really nasty pricks that are the issue- and I think they get tired of that crap there, too.
  22. I had given him the opportunity on several chances in the past to improve his attitude, via PMs, in chat (Where Robb did issue him a warning about his attitude problem) as well as on my own threads- and he's tended to have an attitude of "I'm better than you, and I can tell you how great I am by showing you how bad you are." The final thread was last evening in chat- and that's when he came in simply to insult me- and that was it. He has been given his chances to be more polite, more respectful and actually to contribute to TPR and the Games Forum. I have had several members in the past six months ask why he was still here- and my response was that he's been told to behave better. Too many times he's criticized other people's works and basically trashed them because they're not good enough for him. He tore me a new one- and in many different ways- because I wouldn't conform to his 'perfect world' view. His latest round of "Well, I was just offering criticism' and you can't tell me NO, and you suck because you don't LIKE my opinion was the last straw. I have had to defend people's parks to him too many times, and to sit there and rant because we did what he does to other people is -completely- out of line. Yes, I shouldn't edit people's posts- but after seeing him trash somebody who is IMHO one of our BEST builders is too much. He needs to grow up, learn there are OTHER people than him in this world, and if he think's he is so much better, then let him show the world. I apologize for the inconvenience on this one- but in the end, I think it's going to bring some peace to the forum. R.D.
