  1. Great info. Thank you. Giving myself plenty of time to figure things out, just coming up with possible itineraries so I can visit scary farm, magic mountain/fright fest, universal/horror nights, and maybe sneak up to Discovery kingdom / California's great America (maybe split in one day, I didn't realize CGA did a haunt) but that might be a stretch -- I think I'd rather do 2 magic mountain days if I'm forced for a weekend, then again flash pass is probably the better option; but I just hate all the restrictions that come with SFMM's. The second weekend does sound like a better idea after reading some trip reports for opening day/weekend.
  2. Historically is the park open for scary farm on Thursday's from the start? Just looking at the calendar the park closes at 5:30 on Thursday September 21st I'm assuming that will probably be the first day of the event? Also based on my searching it looks like Platinum Passes are no good for admission, roughly (it probably varies on the day) how much is it for a season pass discounted ticket to scary farm? Just debating what my plans will be this fall and if I will finally be able to make a west coast trip. Thanks!
  3. Something about making love to peanuts and a new RMC but not the hurler. I think that's about it.
  4. Lmao. Seriously love these reports. I'll leave out the highlights because everyone needs to read the entire thing. Disappointed with the pizza cliffhanger, though. 1/10 would not recommend. Also: smilered? lol... what a dick
  5. Skyride attendant: WELCOME BACK RIDERS HOW WAS YOUR RIDE??? -- everyone: uhhhh wut? -- coasterbill: "WOOOOO!!!!" Am I the only one that caught this a few pages back? lol. Now I want to be a skyride op just to see the look on everyone's face throughout the day.
  6. Take a picture and show it off! (I also recommend blanking out the barcode or pass # if it has one) Here is the platinum pass at Canada's Wonderland from a few years ago, and my all-time favorite... (favourite? ) ... luckily I've been able to renew the pass for a few years now, even to other Cedar Fair parks as the home park so I don't have to get rid of it. Every once in a while I have trouble getting a discount at other parks because they are not used to seeing the design or have never heard of the park and don't believe me when I ask them to scan it. Oh well. Curious what else is out there!
  7. Great writeup.... from now on this is how I describe Dorney to people. lol.
  8. Randomly came across this on YouTube trying to find a coaster video. Saw the thumbnail of Leviathan and had to listen to a crappy song but it was filmed at Wonderland. Not the greatest thing in the world but put it on mute and enjoy https://youtu.be/Rb9_jNZdICc
  9. Just watched and learned a lot! Well, mostly to watch where you stand because children will consistently pee on you. -- great job
  10. I think that once holiday world opens the St Patrick's day section with free unlimited beer is where the line gets drawn and it might become a problem but until then, even DISNEY sells alcohol at all of its parks in Orlando (not sure about California). There has to be a reason for it... wait for it... wait for it... waaaiiitttt for it.... Source: http://www.tampabay.com/things-to-do/travel/florida/once-alcohol-free-disneys-magic-kingdom-to-expand-beer-wine-sales/2306594 There, now it's not opinion anymore since I quoted an article
  11. I'm trying to find a way to answer this without sounding like a dick. Luckily someone else had my back that was less snarky.
  12. I was playing drawful 2 (great game!) and a friend got "rollercoaster molestation" and that was the result!
  13. Another raving review for the pretzel twist. I'm sad I didn't remember about it during my last visit. Speaking of pretzel twist, how was the pretzel twist on mont--- ah nevermind. Glad you had a good time. It's not too often you get to experience it with such little wait. Still haven't been on cobras curse but based on most reviews I'm not missing too much. You're right, Falcon's fury hands down in the best drop tower out there. Looking forward to the photos!
  14. So I have a new theory that nobody has come up with. So the shed is a drop track but it leads underground. Then kind of like RCT you can build an entire layout underground. Since there is no room for another lift hill there must be a launch at the bottom of the drop track. Then after you go through the curvy underground layout to get back up you take the elevator track where you guys all think is the transfer track (the actual transfer track is in the underground portion) and then the ride ends. It still follows the blue prints... y'all just havnt seen the second page. You heard it here first, folks
  15. Yes, thank you. Just got mine! Edit: For those having issues or want to share the promo code is "shadowemail17"
  16. What the heck is weck: https://www.charliethebutcher.com/files/4014/1236/1937/Birthday_Card-10_Sample.pdf Cave of the winds (don't take MY word for it*): http://www.tripadvisor.com/283344?m=19905 *The only bad reviews come from those in wheelchairs, the fact there is no actual cave, there can be a long line, and mothers who think their kids are going to fall into the water / feel it's unsafe...
  17. I've recently been meaning to take a few laps on silver comet, it's been a loooonnnggg time since I've been to [M]FI. It used to be a great ride (and fun to operate! Lining up the train was always fun --- no sensors on that thing) I just hope they've maintained it well. Also I wonder if my 117 rides in one day record (they carved my tally in the control panel lol) has ever been surpassed... that was a fun day when I was practically the only one in the park and yet they actually stayed open. If you ever find yourself in the area and want to meet up for a ride or two let me know. Then go do cave of the winds at Niagara Falls 10 min away! Because it's awesome. I need an excuse to bring my fiancee to the park she has had no interest in going even though we drive past it all the time. I think the problem is I told her too many bad stories from working there lol. I think she'd enjoy it if she gave the comet a shot.
  18. I'll just leave this here. It happens to be 150x150 px Sorry for ruining your life coasterbill. It's out of love. This is what it's like to be a celebrity! If we ever cross paths I owe you a roast beef sandwich! (sorry, I'm not a beer drinker; though I do enjoy hard cider). Little known fact about Buffalo... we have the best roast beef sandwiches! http://www.visitbuffaloniagara.com/crawl/beef-on-weck/
  19. That place is awesome! I spent about 2 hours alone just trying to beat the game called ICE COLD BEER! and I finally did! I had a crowd cheering me on when I got to the last hole. And by crowd I mean like 3 people and the person working there. Seriously though, that place is worth going out of the way for. And it's cheap as hell. Which doesn't compute in Vegas.
  20. I'm not sure how to 'nina' in tapatalk, but this needs to be nina'ed so, so, hard. Seriously, let's all calm down.
  21. Sorry. Bacon wrapped in pretzel. My bad. Source: http://micechat.com/66681-falcons-fury-delayed-busch-gardens-tampa-pantopia-opens/
