  1. Considering parking is $25 I'd say get the pass. I'm pretty sure you just show them the voucher at the booth and they scan it and it works for one time parking. Correct me if I'm wrong. Of course this only applies to gold passes I'm assuming parking is still included in them. You also get additional perks like bringing a friend for less than 25$ depending on the month.
  2. Thanks for the laser video! Looks pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty good
  3. Great TR! looking forward to my first visit in October! Thanks for sharing!
  4. According to another group I was told by several people it's platinum only with no free re-ride. I wish the website stated this. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  5. Wow. They are pulling a 'six flags magic mountain' on the mako quick queue. One time use and separate from the wristband for $25 per person. Nothing wrong with it, and I'm sure people will buy it... but still.. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  6. I've seen a baby blueish rusty piece of track in the graveyard like 10 years ago. I still don't know what it was from but maybe that's it. I'll see if I can find a photo on my hard drive its probably the same thing. There is no way there is b&m track anywhere. No way. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  7. When I was there the app was mostly accurate with wait time info (more so than the times out front) -- you can get a GPS spoof app to make the app think you are in the park and get wait time info from there. This would probably be a better base for data than trying to collect from people at the park. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  8. Seriously? That must be brand new. Okay, then enter either the main gate or the resort gate to be safe. I'd enter the main gate personally. I forgot to chime in before, they weren't allowing people to use the Marina gate for early entry on Preview Sunday either. There was a guard stopping people that were not actually coming from the Marina. Those that did get through to the gate didn't get through until after the front gaters got to the ride anyways, and they seemed pissed. FYI! Not sure how things have been since, though.
  9. I guess this confirms its a controlled spin, regardless of weight/distribution it will be the same ride? Maybe? Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  10. I guess it would matter if they coral people inside the Marina gate until 9 which I'm guessing they don't just open the gate itself so I could see a long line forming vs the front gate which I'm assuming has a rope drop of some sort. Hmmm. Decisions. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  11. Question about the Marina gate... is it possible to walk there from the front parking lot? Can you get platinum pass early entry from there? Want to beat the crowds on Sunday if possible... Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk
  12. https://www.cedarpoint.com/passholder/ Edit: oh, I see what you're saying there used to be a place for national offers. Not sure.
  13. When I was there last year there was no single rider line for WC, and early entry for (gold?) pass holders was... wait for it... 10 minutes. But I'm sure a local could help more.
  14. Rainbow mountain would also be a blast from the past. I believe the slides that 'Cuda Falls replaced was rainbow mountain.
  15. ##### semi spoilers!!! ###### ##### semi spoilers!!! ###### ##### semi spoilers!!! ###### We didn't get any warning that they would be touching us in the Age of Darkness, and considering how every other attraction they tell you that don't touch them they won't touch you it took us off guard. The grave walkers skeleton key room was done much better at Canada's Wonderland because there was this whole story leading up to it (though not everyone got incinerated like at Dorney). Only one person was chosen but it was much smaller groups. There was really no background at Dorney when we went in and we ended up waiting 45 min for it due to the way it was presented. That being said, of the 3 parks we did, it was the only "repeat" concept which I was amazed all the parks were unique rooms. (this was my first year doing fright lanes). --- No spoilers until after Halloween! And use spoiler tags!
  16. So nobody has anything to say about the Age of Darkness skeleton key room? o.O caught me a little off guard... probably my favorite room of the 3 fright lane parks I did this year.
  17. I went to 4 cedar fair haunts, and some Florida haunts and Phantom fright nights I felt was the worst of all the parks I went to this year, unfortunately. Can't compare it to years past but it seemed very low budget and without many scares, and nothing really unique except for one planted character in the group which was kind of funny. Just my quick opinion. I did enjoy some of the decorations around the park that they transformed. **edit: except ARK IN THE DARK was pretty crazy and well with it. And let me tell you we saw no lights on any of the staircases, lol
  18. I thought toxicity was good! Not very Halloween-y per say but they did a good job with it
  19. I think we will see a unique change that nobody expects from the NEW hulk!
  20. Great photos / review thanks for sharing. That skeleton key is a really cool souvenir. Already bought for my visit! Very cool that they give you a bonus house punch too. Really looking forward to it my first year at Kings Island
  21. People abbreviated wicked cyclone as "W.i.C.y." and it was stupid... so a filter was made...
  22. We should get a clone of wicy (sorry had to use the filter after all that has been going on in this thread)
  23. I know the advice here was to avoid fast track but it was a lifesaver for us. Yeah we had to sit in the middle rows, yeah it was a little expensive, but we avoided so many FULL queues on labor day Sunday it was ridiculous. Bonus: you can go to any coaster after the time posted, so you can see the zoo, go to chocolate world, enjoy something to eat, and then do 4 rides rapid fire. Etc. Also no wait at all since you go up the exits. Saved us at least 5 hours in lines and well worth what they were charging that weekend. I havn't seen such a busy park since Magic Kingdom!
