I'm for all StarFlyers put into the middle of a city. Night rides are so amazing! I think the tallest now in Vienna will then be 1 or 6 meters shorter... -

Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens. Great day with walk-ons on all coasters - except for Sheikra which is down, but didn't missed it much... -

4 spins on the very good Rock'N'Roller Coaster at Disney Hollywood Studios - before the park got crowded! This Vekoma is suprisingly smooth! -

Sadly most here missed all the great portable Schwarzkopf coasters I grew up with: Dreier Looping Thriller Alpina Bahn Katapult Olympia Looping For over 40 years german carnivals are unthinkable without a Schwarzkopf coaster or flatride. -
Slagharen will get 4 new family/kiddie rides this season including a kids driving course like Legoland. Next to that the Enterprise is now listed as beeing located in the "Jules Verne" area for 2013 - which was first among rides announced to be removed. The Flying Carpet and the unique Calypso which were also announced to be removed are no longer listed in the attractions section of their website. Hoping it's true that the Enterprise will stay as it's one of the last remaining made by Schwarzkopf.

I noticed that when I booked my stay at WDW last year Fitness-Centers were included for ALL Disney Resort Hotel guests - now on their new site it says it's only included for guests of the Disney Resort Hotel guests that reside in the hotel in which the Fitness-Center is located. All other Disney Resort Hotel guests have to pay USD 12 per visit which IMO is outrageous. At for example Europe-Park the Fitness-Center at the Bell Rock Hotel is free for all resort guests. I'll try to force my way in for free as I booked when it was still free for all...

I don't think this is correct. Entering Denmark by Autobahn 7 one is greeted by the following 5 flags: Denmark (tallest pole in the middle), Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland. All the flags of the Scandinavian contries fearure the "Scandinavian Cross". Source: wikimedia -
Great TR - have Cedar Point on my watchlist for sure. Maybe 2015... Never ridden a Windseeker so far but I guess the Starflyer are better because these are "real" chainflyer and you swing freely in them. Love them inside cities like Copenhagen or Vienna. Would love to see more downtown Starflyer instead of the ferris wheels.... I prefer the old pirate ships as you're not that stapped in on those and your backside really lifts off...

Prejudice can be bad sometimes: At the first pic of the mountain slide I thought "Very well copied from the Wiegand system!" - only to see in the second picture that it IS an actual Wiegand ride...

Movie Park is one of the parks I'll only grab if I'll be in the area by chance...won't travel for it as the coaster and flat selection is quite meh compared to other parks...

the big holes at the back of wave pools
simon8899 replied to waveywonder's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
In germany those holes have to be covered with a fine metal mesh barrier - you're not able to even push your thumb into the mesh. This is yearly checked by independent engineers as wave engines have to be TÜV tested and approved here. -

Looking good.... Less than 3 weeks to go... -
After the website "upgrade" all my reservations are lost and the "re-Link your reservations" site gives me a 500 error. I complained friday and got no response so far... Gladly I've printed all my reservations and surely hope that all is fine - otherwise I need to talk to some head of IT-Operations there and give him a good hot seat grilling... Honestly I think it's quite bad they aren't able to put your reservations back in after a website upgrade. Looking at Amazon I never lost anything when they updated their layout. I mentioned that in my complaint e-mail and suggested that they should maybe send their IT-staff to some courses to Amazon...

You shouldn't be so airy about the english translations - german in US parks is mostly even more horrible...
