  1. Yes. That person likes everything ever posted by me. So annoying! Do you ever blare music through your house on the stereo when you're vacuuming and want to hear it over the vacuum?
  2. OH MY GEE!!! This is what they're talking about!!! Look at those TPR oppressors forcing their members to do something!!! Anyway, I voted...
  3. Nope, for the most part they don't go back until September. That's besides the point anyway, a Math and Science week/day is never going to be held then. It's always held towards the end of the school year, not right at the beginning. I'm sorry, I accidentally misread your post. You said they have science/math days the first week Cedar Point is open, not the first week school was in. How embarrassing on my part... And that totally makes sense that they wouldn't have it the first week they are in school.
  4. Son of Beast at King's Island. I couldn't feel my body when I got off...
  5. Can't think of a name, but it would be a B&M park all the way! Nitro Riddler's Revenge Alpengeist Tatsu Griffon
  6. That's because you went in July/August. Math and Science week is always the first week they are open, when kids are still in school. I thought Ohio is in school during the last week of August?
  7. Don't want to go off topic anymore, but here's your answer: http://www.themeparkinsider.com/flume/200705/360/ Hopefully this weekend we'll see some construction on GL. Come on, lets go vertical!
  8. In 2010 I was at CP on a Thursday in July and another weekday during the last week of August. July was a typical day: hot (low 90's, OUCH!), humid, cloudy. Lines were around an hour for MF, TTD, and Maverick. Miserable day, but great rides. Weekday in August was completely different. Clear, not as humid, high 70's. Longest lines were obviously TTD, MF, and Maverick, which fluctuated between 30 to 45 minutes. Got a second ride at night for MF with a 20 minute wait. There was no science days at all while I was there. My advice: Weekday in August when Ohio is in school!

  10. Well I'll be nice and tell you that the Magnum sinking rumor was just a rumor...
  11. I don't know if anyone else shares my feelings, but I honestly like the noise! It adds life to the park. I have to agree with you there, it is pretty lifeless a lot of the time in that big open space that connects Batman, Goliath, and Colossus/Scream. Superman (and the new basketball three point shooter thing) do make the park seem more "awake," if you catch what I'm trying to say.
  12. Bump because of this topic: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=58370 In south Orange County, its a few cents away from $4 a gallon right now. I guess with all the conflicts in the Middle East its harder and harder to get the gas to us...
  13. Try making the turnaround on land between the loop and corkscrews 5ft above the ground. I think it looks better then just track laying there.
  14. Yeah it definitely changed! It was saying gusts up to 25mph earlier. Even when winds are at 25 mph, there is only a small chance of X2 being closed. The only difference you'll experience is the flames turned off on X2 and Apocalypse. Unless there are huge gusts, you can't really feel the wind in the park (except the parking lot).
  15. Insulin pumps give you that opportunity to splurge. I might go into the high 100's after drinking one, but that's no biggie to bring down.
  16. No, but I'm not sure about that since I'm still reeling from that post about Muslims... Can you type 60 words per minute on the computer?
  17. ^That is one thing I do have to splurge on every year. THEY'RE SO FRIGGIN GOOD!!!!!!
  18. It would become California's new prison system. How many tubs of ice cream does it take to span the equator?
  19. It switches spots with the moon, underground. Why does my computer mouse have a scroll ball instead of a scroll wheel?
  20. Any picture of my favorite coaster the Riddler's Revenge is my avatar!
  21. Was just staring at my March calendar, thinking to myself "Is it West Coast Bash yet?" and I was excited thinking about that special day of March 19th. ...then this post popped up... All I can say is I jumped out of my skin!!!! I CAN'T WAIT FOR WCB!!!!
  22. Oh gawd, Psyclone's back from the dead! I don't think the supports on Deja Vu are that odd, but I think the lattice towers are cool looking. Come to think of it though, the loop has a weird structure supporting it. Too bad the tower has to be there at the boomerang in case it valleys. The ride would look a lot less cluttered without it!
  23. Just to let you know that orange one is Titan at Six Flags over Texas.
  24. After reading your first post in this thread 6 years ago, it seems like you have really changed your personal junk food policies for the better. Fast food junkie, no pun intended.
  25. I'd say its safe to say that CGA is a neglected park, especially next to most other Cedar Fair parks. I didn't say specifically that the lack of station buildings were a sign of neglect, I just said they were just never built. I agree that it is probably a cost saving measure to a park that gets very little overall investment (ie neglect).
