  1. Weird, creepy. It's actually a really close resemblance.
  2. ^ But so does the Racer, so does American Eagle, so does Rebel Yell, so does Rolling Thunder and so does... you get the point. They all have different layouts. Anyways, my vote goes out to the American Eagle. It's been running excellent recently, with insane airtime and minimal braking.
  3. 75% of my clothes are Gap or Old Navy. The rest are probably American Eagle. I have a few things from other places, but not many.
  4. ^ Carbs are good! Didn't Elissa tell you that? Anyways, I work at our local IMAX theater. You seriouly do not want to know the health facts of the "butter." The "butter" is actually hydrognated soybean oil with flavoring, and includes about 20% of your daily fat in one tablespoon. Gross.
  5. Hey Elissa! I've never taken the time to do this before, but here it goes. Will you change mine to "Loves The American Eagle"... Thanks!
  6. Put me down as one of the Millenium Force black outers. From the bottom of the first drop to the tunnel. Also, it's happened to me on Hulk during the cobra roll and Kumba for the first two inversions.
  7. Yeah... I'm glad we used the Kong building rather than the ET one. Universal Hollywood had space problems, and wouldn't use real fire because that building was never certified for the real thing. However, the Kong building already had been certified for tons of fire and was a much bigger space, allowing Universal Florida to have the 'better' Mummy and allowing Universal Hollywood to have the 'I wish I was in Florida' Mummy.
  8. Wow... that's one of the coolest things that a theme park has ever done! Obviously Universal knows that it has loyal fans and that they should do some awesome (and cool) things for those willing to visit multiple times. This is even above Disney quality... kudos Universal!
  9. I'm 6'1" currently, but, I'm probably going to get 6'5". I'm fairly confident that I will; I have an uncle who's 6'7" and I wear size 13/14 shoes so... yeah. I'll probably be too tall to ride Deja Vu; oh well, it's never open anyways.
  10. I get to claim the tite of "the lone Iowan" on Theme Park Review!
  11. I didn't think ME was too bad... it was very similar to 98, but with a few changes. The best thing about ME was that it didn't have many viruses for it, compared with 98, XP, etc.
  12. ^ Let's just hope it's a Gerstlauer or Maurer Shone model, and not one of the less exciting Reverchon clone models. I'd love to see another Maurer Shone model in the US, especially one with the awesome 90 degree bank turn/hill thing. Anyways, now I can get my coaster fix during the winter, with a place that's pretty close to me.
  13. Very neat... sounds like there will be some actual ride motion, other than the same speed, blah, flat forwards direction. And the winning team will probably get some free candy. "Hang onto your laser blasters and take aim at the targets as you swoop, climb, and dip through the action. Accumulate as many points for your team as you can – the winning car will be declared at the end of the challenge, and a sweet reward awaits all who play! " One problem: the 800 pph capacity.
  14. This year, I got a really smooth ride on Iron Wolf, and it was amazing. The ride was forceful and fun, and the second part of the ride was totally insane with all of the directional changes. You fly through the corkscrew on Iron Wolf so fast, it's amazing. If you can just get a smooth ride on Iron Wolf, you can see what it really used to be, and how intense and fun it actually is.
  15. Some people are saying that they all pull over at the same speed, which is wrong. Both woodies at SFGAm (The American Eagle and Viper) slow down when they reach the crest of the hill, in order to reduce wear on the chain. Viper slows down more than the American Eagle. However, the slowing down on the lift doesn't have any real impact on the ride.
  16. I put in Powder Keg, an S&S launched coaster that screams through the woods. It fits in a very compact space (all I used was leftover space from other projects.) A screenshot is included in the zipped download. Official TPR Park 10-21-05.zip Next up!
  17. I'll try and put something in... work in progress!
  18. Nice! I like the music and the track design is very good. I also like the trenches and other landscaping. Good job!
  19. I love Coasterfanactic's- you gotta love the progressive era.
  20. I'm pretty amazed. I never thought that RCT3 would go to Mac. I wonder if it runs better on macintosh? I don't have a macintosh, but this kind of inspires be to get one. I've heard they're really nice and much better than Windows. http://www.macworld.com/weblogs/gameroom/2005/10/railroadtycoon/index.php?lsrc=mwrss
  21. Downtown! The scenery is amazing, and it kind of reminds me of a futuristic art deco-type style. I love it, keep it coming!
  22. Jeekers! Don't these guys know Ice Moutain Splash isn't in County Fair? It's in Yankee Harbor, damn it! Just kidding, that was probably the first thought of a billion enthusiasts who live like a mile away from the park. Anyways, I'm sure there would be many unhappy members of TPR about the removal of another Arrow Hydroflume.
  23. ^ Exactly my thought. And I'm 14. Sorry, but the "work on presentation" line cracked me up- it sounded like a teacher!
  24. The change on Ocean Motion/Pirate Ship is pretty strange. It doesn't seem like any other parks have that requirement (42'-54' sit in middle.) Also, those signs are totally awesome. (Especially the 'Are you ready for this?' one.)
  25. I loved London- it was the favorite place that I vistied. I just loved walking around in the city. There are just so many cool things about London. It is quite the city.
