To my knowledge Sandor Kernacs is the only person that rode Maverick with the heartline roll and he came back to the station with a bloody ear and insisted it be removed. Considering it only took the park/Intaride 3-4 weeks (maybe even shorter) to make the modification I would like to assume that Intamin had a plan "B" in place as they weren't too sure themselves if the roll would pan out as planned. I also remember reading something about the speed at which the heartline roll was taken put a great amount of stress on the train chassis also.

I can't think of an Intamin that does open with it's respective park.

Pretty sure the engineers decide what's an appropriate length........... In all honesty it's a little long but I believe it's probably going to be divided up into 2 blocks. All other B&Ms with 3 trains have 5 blocks. So in this case Leviathan's block setup is most likely Station, Lift, Block Brake (1st section of brake run), Safety/Main Brake (2nd section of brake run), transfer (just before right hand turn), station approach.

Maybe it'll be divided into 2 blocks. It is a little long in my opinion but then again my opinion really doesn't matter because I would assume that with 84 coasters under their belt, B&M's engineering team would know what they are doing. Better too long than too short......Just saying......

This airtime hill, and this are what make Maverick a "top 5" coaster in my opinion.

^Got ya. Only reason I said rumor was because the park never officially announced it but you're right. I also forgot the sale of the parks was going on during that time also.

I prefer 1st Gen free falls myself. Nice airtime was had on FreeFall at SFMM.

^ & ^^ That would explain the superior guest service. Now don't get me wrong younger operators can have great efficiency and guest service but I believe it's more common in older operators.

^^There shouldn't be any issue getting trains dispatched at a decent pace on Shockwave as the train is on the lift for 3 minutes. LOL ^Is this Dale a younger or older (30+) gentlemen? Reason I ask is because I find that older operators tend to have more of a sense of urgency. Just my observation though.

B&M's first true "Fly-By??" Love the idea......hope it actually happens.

^^ I believe Sea World did the usual "Summer 2012" as the opening "date." Yea Manta is really a big deal for the park as their last new "major" addition was JTA back in 2004. There were rumors floating around about a Premier indoor launched coaster back in 2009 but those fell through thanks to the city. ^They have construction walls up but she should be able to get pics without violating any rules/trespassing. Whatever updates she can provide would be great!

^Ride Maverick and El Toro and you'll forget B&M even exists. No, not really but those 2 really push Intamin past B&M for me personally.

^How does Premier being the manufacturer guarantee anything?? Yea both Mr. Freeze coasters have dual loading stations but not all of Premier's coasters do. It would make sense though and I hope SFDK's does.

Not to mention Cedar Fair probably got a deal to order 5.
