  1. $4.3 million via Pilgrim's Plunge Fact Sheet
  2. ^With that said it makes more sense to remove Log Jammer since Jet Stream has all that money and time invested in it.
  3. Source: Hershey Park's FB Sad News indeed. Hershey Park is by far my favorite park.
  4. ^^^They are magnetic so if you ride later in the day when they're warmer they'll be less effective so you'll feel them less. Either way they don't really detract from the ride for me.
  5. The trim before the loop can't be felt as much as the one before the bunny hills.
  6. ^X2, Apocanator, Viper, and Goliath aren't worth a 3 hour drive????
  7. ^The guests always have the best looks on their faces when it's testing and we tell them It's not open.
  8. ^^^Even if they would have told you that, your follow up question would have been "when is it going to open?" So you would have received the same answer regardless
  9. While I wish Marty the best of luck wherever his career takes him, I'm all for this change. Things have already started to turn around and I only see them getting better with time.
  10. ^Well the park closes at 6 so there will be no night rides on X2 unfortunately for him. I always save X2 for last.
  11. ^If it's anything like my trip this past Sunday your longest wait will be X2 at 45min. My recommendation is always hit the back of park 1st. My first stop is always Goliath where you can get 2 or 3 rides in without even getting out of your seat. From there I'll hit up Scream, Colossus, Batman, Green Lantern, Riddler's and so on. I usually save X2 for last.
  12. The amusement industry owes Ron A LOT. Sad news indeed.
  13. Went on Friday and had a damn good time. Thinking about going again in a couple weeks. That noise ordinance really sucks cause the Terror Tram will be closing at 9 on their Thursday night events they have coming up.
  14. Screamscape has reported a Quick-Rise safety floor is being installed in the Orca tanks. Interesting read. Source: Screamscape
  15. Armchair engineering at it's finest.......... CW got a kicka$$ ride and all people are worried about is how long/high the brake run is?!?!?! Give me a break. The ride was DESIGNED by engineers with actual mechanical engineering degrees (not RCT/No Limits degrees) In regards to the layout......it is what it is. If the park wanted an extra helix....they would have made it happen. [End rant]
  16. ^Correct. The MCBR is attached to the main brake run. At 1:08 you'll see that trains comes to the first section (would normally be a MCBR) and then there's a "gap" before entering the next section of brakes (main/safety brake). Next would be transfer/station approach. Still has your normal 5 block B&M setup. Station, lift, block brake, main/safety brake, transfer/station approach. This is what sees most logical to me by looking at the rides design and comparing to other B&Ms that run 3 trains. To be honest all of this really shouldn't matter as Leviathan looks to be a kick a$$ ride nonetheless.
  17. People living in Nebraska have no sympathy
  18. A lot of people only visit Knott's for Haunt. Same way I imagine a lot of people only visit Universal Studios during Horror Nights. Just my thought.
  19. Not sure exactly but considering ordering a piece of track like that would take at least 3-4 months to get I would imagine. Very good question indeed
  20. You might be a coaster nerd if you wish your car had lap bars instead of seatbelts.......
