  1. Great start Chuck, it is weird to think that was almost 3 weeks ago.
  2. Having just gotten back from the Europe trip I must say, "You have lost your mind!" The Europe parks absolutely own the US in all aspects. The food is better, the theming is amazing, and the ride selection is better. About all I can say about US parks is we have more coasters. Rich "By next year I will have more Europe credits than US" Bitner
  3. Sorry to disagree with you but i found it to be one of the worst and tamest wooden coasters I have ever been on. Also your stats are way off. The drop is only 118 feet and the top speed is 57 mph. However at your age and previous coaster experience this is definately a ride that would look very intimidating.
  4. 500 this season???? Like most things with "Big Mike" it is just a BIG exageration. See you 12 days buddy.
  5. The one at Tusenfryd was excellent and I believe I will get another crack at one in Europe this summer.
  6. You have obviously never rode a Vekoma woodie.
  7. Thunderbolt at Kennywood. It was still solid but not amazing.
  8. It has to be better than Hades because it is not at Mt. Olympus.
  9. I didn't even like Laser and I still agree with Joe. CF sucks.
  10. We were at Waldameer on Saturday and had an amazing time.
  11. I know I am even scared to wear it out because I know how the TPR ladies love it. The last thing I want to be is a marriage wrecker.
  12. I have over 40, but lately they have not been my thing. I used to really enjoy wearing them to work on Friday, but my school put in a dress code for the students and it seems like I am a dick if I wear t-shirts when they can't.
  13. Pretty much Every single water ride on the Spain trip was great. their flumes usually have a multiple drops, they allow you to just pack the boat with people, and are huge in length. They were more fun then the coasters I rode in Spain.
  14. Just got back and Ravine Flyer is awesome. Great pacing, good air and just overall a really fun ride.
  15. Agreed. That is one of the best coasters I have ever rode.
  16. I have got some floater air, but nothing resembling ejector air like you get on SROS at SFNE.
  17. Anybody who has been to Coney Beach in the UK will know that statement is only true Most of the time.
  18. Funny how you are worried about violence happening in the park, but you have no problem lying or stealing. I'm thinking when the ass kicking comes it should be chalked up to karma.
  19. ^Then I have to say you are the best return on investment in Deja Vu history.
  20. Again I ask "Why do you keep going back". Plus if you really want to cheat death go to Mount Olympus, the ride ops there are the enemy. Joe and Dave I thought CF did own Holiday World. It sure seems like they do.
  21. ^^Yet when several of us have said we find SF to have better operations you said we were biased and delusional. You can't have it both ways, you can't say we all have our opinion then tell us we are delusional. Here is my last trip to CP. Arrive at opening, go straight back to Maverick. wait in line while trains stack and breakdowns occur. 3 hours later go into the park. Find that even Gemini has a 30 minute line as they stack trains. Go get a bite to eat have wrong food brought to us, twice. Watch security ignore a fight/argument. Go wait 45 minutes for Blue Streak, never once seein a train not get stacked in the brake run. Maybe CP should make us all wear velcro for added protection. Watch employees not even check riders until 2nd train hits brake run. Go see a actor perform tell tale heart. It was awesome!!! Leave as fast as possible with the prayer of them never getting a new coaster so I don't have to come back. Oh and Maxair was broke all day. SFGADV get to the park 3.5 hours before closing. Ride El Toro amazing and in an area that looks like Disney. Get SUF credit along with an amazing churro. Get 1/2 of Chiller credit. Go ride Nitro twice. Back for more El Toro Back seat 20 minutes of park time to go. Again back seat, think no way can we get another ride we do as they leave the que open til exactly closing time. Ride an amazing ride get back to station and 2 people are waiting for front row, they put them in fronat and the rest of the train gets one more ride. Workers are hustling and high fiving people, supervisor talks to us a shakes are hand after we thank him for the huge improvement in the park. Leaving the park is very relaxing as people leave after a great day. Now which one would you vote for? For years I thought CP was great and one of the best run parks out there, however they are to big as a chain and all the things I found to annoy in their other parks are now a part of CP also. That is my opinion based on my most recent visit. It has been 5 years since I thought CP was on par with the best SF has to offer.
  22. ^the quote and response from Larry is why I always get irritated when you hear people constantly complain about a park or chain, then find out they have visited dozens of times. They could have spent some of that time and money at a small park and maybe we would have some more of these left to visit. This hobby is going to really teabag when we only have big chains left.
  23. ^If you hate a place that much, why would you go back 9 more times? I really dislike Valleyfair, so I am not making plans to go back. Same for Beech Bend. I totally believe you could have had a bad experience, although both of my trips to SFOG were amazing, I just don't understand why you keep coming back.
  24. Closing in rain is a CF issue, not a safety issue. I have rode multiple rides in huge rainstorms and as long as there is no lightning they are good. CF's policy is just garbage when it comes to that I also find their service to be robotic.
