  1. The tiger thing doesn't suprise me. Even at my small local zoo you can get that close to the tigers. They seem to enjoy it as our white tiger really enjoys scaring people. Looks great, Thanks Eric.
  2. I hate it because I rode it that first year when it was awesome. I have rerode it several times since then sometimes just because it is funny. I feel that there is no roughness to it as it is moving to slow to cause any real issues. Course I rarely find a ride to rough, (wolverine wildcat, SOB, coasterexpress) are some of the very few. Bottom lione 1. the ride was designed crappy, 2. CF sucks at maintaining wood coasters. Timbers at MIA is a perfect example, it is designed fine but gets worse every year.
  3. Great Trip Report Jahan. I feel the same way about most of the rides you described at KI. I love Adventure Express and find the ending to be hilarious.
  4. I was thinking more ironic since she posted like 1 or 2 days later.
  5. I love seeing the new parks I will be visiting this summer. Thanks.
  6. I would only have counted that credit if they would have denied me the credit, and I had rode that model before. You cannot make fun of my clone rule if you don't understand it. I still maintain that you and Larry criticize it for 2 reasons. 1. You didn't think of it first. 2. It makes so much sense you can't comprehend how great it is. Rich "I can't believe you are not going to Europe with me, Rich" Bitner
  7. Wild Adventures. First time.
  8. Most the time I let it go like most people because it is just not going to end well. I also know if it gets to verbal argument stage I am going to continue it, so for my own piece of mind I just don't put myself in that situation.
  9. ^Looking at the map it appears to have good theming and a nice variety of rides, what else would you like them to do?
  10. That looks like a much needed addition to one of the most disapointing parks on the UK tour. As stated above this looks way better than the ones at SF.
  11. First the "cool" thing is a joke amongst my friends. Second like others have said I have no issue whether you like the movie, my issue was including all of us in some butt kissing parade and assuming how Cody will act now. Course you often "assume" how others act without ever meeting them. I am not trying to draw you into some flame war, I just don't care for you and find a lot of your posts to be inappropriate or creepy. I found this post about Cody to be particularily mean spirited so I called you on it. Had it been the same post for any member who didn't deserve it I would respond in the same way. I don't mince words or have a hidden agenda and if I cross the line feel free to call me on it at your leisure.
  12. The Jamestown attractions are excellent, I was as impressed with Yorktown. I would look for some of your "nature" stuff to do on the way out or back as breaking the drive into smaller drives usually leads to a lot of fun. I do think the budget is a little low, but the camping will help. Williamsburg is just an excellent area so request some travel guides and have a good time.
  13. If winning an oscar gets people to stop posting on this site may I be the first to nominate you.
  14. First with the humor thing and now with this "clique" crap. I knew no one on this site before I joined. I went on some trips, posted some stuff and made some friends. You want to know how I did it? I acted like myself. I didn't try to hard to be funny, I didn't say creepy stuff to people, I didn't assume that jokes between friends on the site were also appropriate to use on people I don't know. Bottom line this isn't high school. People on this site aren't friends because they play football together, or play in the band. They are friends because they have stuff in common and generally enjoy each other's company. When did finding people you like become a negative? The people on the TPR trips come from many different walks of life and seem to display none of this negative attitude that people keep mentioning on here. As a definite outsider who has become somewhat of an insider you could not be more wrong. If that is truly how you feel then maybe this isn't the place for you. As someone who defended Lou in her thread it had nothing at all to do with some rumored clique and everything to do with sticking up for my friend. Rich "Everyone on TPR seems nice unless you are rude, obnoxious, arrogant, never admit you are wrong, or just plain creepy" Bitner
  15. I am tired of people saying that TPR has lost its sense of humor. This is not funny, on any level. We didn't lose our sense of humor, you guys posted stuff that wasn't funny. I think the fact that most people find this creepy shows that TPR is the same as it always was.
  16. No, but places to look at attractive, COMPLETE strangers have. This is creepy on so many levels I can't even go into it. Not to mention why wouldn't you just talk to said stranger as opposed to buying a picture.
  17. I love the multiple spellings of trailer in the post. Not to mention when I see you I totally think trailer park. Maybe even your own meth lab.
  18. Wes you know this site Way to well. I remember maybe 20% of these. My vote goes for anyone who says CP is the Best. Park. Ever. Bonus points for said poster who has never visited a park outside of Ohio.
  19. I really don't care if you make it or not to be honest I will just be glad to not have you posting about your new , amazing, better then the last job every 3 months. It just seems ironic that you can imagine being in the same place for 13 years, when you can't stay at the same job for 3 months. Again I am just saying, everyone deserves to have the chance to do what they want for a living so all the best to you.
  20. The thread about bread reference was from last year when you were getting ready to go after your dream job at Disney and wanted to know the cost of things in Florida.
  21. 13 years of college. Good luck with that. Course since you are planning on living for 50,000 years the time will go fast. Like Parktrips said why not just switch rides at the same park. I refuse to believe the same guy who had a thread about bread will really go to college for that long.
  22. Did I say you weren't enjoying your life? But everytime you switch you give this huge explanation of why this one will be different, or better, or what ever. Universal, Busch, Disney, Cedar Fair, they all still involve running rides. To me it seems very strange to change jobs that often as I have only had 7 jobs in 20 years.
  23. Revived your jobs, were they dead? Seriously is there an amusement chain you two haven't worked for? Maybe this is not the industry for you. I mean weren't you so excited about Disney? Thankfully I have no desire to visit CP this summer, course I am sure you will be working for SF come July anyway.
  24. I'll wake her as I believe you are not allowed within 500 ft of the premises.
