Photo Trip Report: Indy Zoo and Lucas Oil Stadium

Brady>Manning because he hasn't lost HOME playoff games 2 of the last 3 years. BTW its Conseco Fieldhouse where the Pacers Play and for years when the RCA dome was empty and the Colts were the laughingstock of the NFL people were watching the Pacers and Reggie Miller. Even though I like the Colts I despise bandwagon fans, or people who put down other teams just to make them seem better. -

There is something seriously wrong with that. Chuck only was able to capture about 1/5 of the carnage as there were some particularly violent altercations walking back from Disney to the resort. -
Kennywood (KW) Discussion Thread

Why is this sad? I don't understand how having season passes is a bad thing. They have good security and good staff, so what is going to happen. -

^Thank God they are open after Labor day as their Halloween event freaking rules. The pass seems like a good idea as that is five admissions with the online thing I did this year. -

Very nice TR Erik with pictures from some great parks. I also enjoy Waldameer a lot and have visited it more then CP in the last 5 years even though it is 2 hours farther from my house. -

If you take a bunch of sixth and seventh graders to the park it is massively fun. I found Thunderhawk to be quite a bit better then before, and I think that path in the back will really help the overall feel of the park. -
Dragsterfan: I teach in an urban school that really struggles with testing and meeting the other criteria of NCLB. One of those is attendance that we get judged on. Some of our parents remove the kids for weeks at a time which totally offsets a bunch of kids who come every day. In the last 2 years we have got no increase in funds, however we have had to spend our funds on busing kids to other schools, and sending one kid to a tutoring service which costs the same as giving 10 kids an after school program. It is pretty safe to say the program has serious flaws and is pretty much impossible to enforce at its highest level. Here is an analogy a school could get in trouble from dropping from 100% passing to 99%. If all schools pass the testing then the schools with the LOWEST PASSING scores then go on warning. So essentially we have a system that compares all schools to each other. I have a school that has 90% of the kids living below the poverty line and we currently receive less funds. Great plan and please don't ever ask me where I get my information from. I live it everyday.

Obama. The Republicans came up with no child left behind so they may never get my vote again. Who comes up with a school plan that reduces the money schools get that are having trouble with their testing. Last year you finished 15th in then NBA so we lowered your salary cap, and increased the Celtics. Great plan.

Good Coaster, Bad Park
coaster05 replied to coasterstud522's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well, then technically that's 3 coasters I'm assuming you consider "good," or at least worth riding. Therefore, Dollywood shouldn't apply to this thread............unless I read something wrong. For me, I'm going with Diamondback, FTW. I agree with how you are reading this. It says good coaster, bad park. We have had every loophole possible just so people can fit what they want to in this. If the park is good then you can't use it in this thread. Also if the park has 7 good rides it shouldn't be used. I also believe next year Diamondback will score huge points in this catergory. -

How in the world do you consider that park a dump. The rides all work, the staff is nice, the price is good and it is clean. -

KR is definately the first thing that popped into my head. Excalibur at Funtown/Splashtown is also way up there. For me personally the good coasters at CP. -

Best park of this trip! Best park of any of the TPR trips I have been on! Maybe, my favorite park of all time. The operations were amazing and they even ran 2 trains on the family coaster. They had somewhwere around 30 rafts on the rapids ride, it was just insane the amount of people this place was putting through on rides. -

Great Job Hanno. As my next school year approaches it just seems so weird and surreal that I was doing all of this just a month ago. At least I already have some money saved for Scandi. Thanks again for the TR Rich -

Yeppers. And it was total carnage in there. I took one look at the huge mob of people waiting to get food and decided to go elsewhere. We ate there 2 or 3 times and although it was crazy, the food was good, the counter people were nice and once you got to the counter the food was there in about a minute. The key was to go in the lines directly up the middle. It also helped if you had 4 in your group and you all knew what the others wanted. To be honest it is actually one of the things I will always remember about this trip. Rich "One menu golden please" Bitner -

Same, with a 2nd place steel vote going to Dragon's Fury NERD!!!!!!! ADMIN EDIT: Before you hit submit, ask yourself "Am I about to make a double post?" -
Unfortunately with Dave's punishment the innoncent often are punished with the guilty. About a year ago cats with laser beams were unleashed on Indiana and I was just an innoncent bystander.

All Ugly dolls rule and our 9 sitting on the couch would like to visit with world traveling Ice Bat. Maybe, Icebat needs to go to a Notre Dame football game.

That was an excellent haunted house attraction. Shame it was trapped in that park. -
Huh!?!? If Cedar Point only had 600 people, that would be absolutely amazing! That's like ERT on every coaster for the whole day! That would be true if you actually like CP. Other then Maverick I have already rode every coaster there more than enough. So that would leave me to do their amazing flat collection, dark rides, log flume, free water park, amazing food selection, great theming. I would just rather go to Kennywood.
