Yeah pretty much, except the layout is mirrored, it's significantly more spread out and has a lift/drop instead of a launch. Definitely a strange ride with the small trains.

So those guys standing at the start of the conveyor belt, are they there to catch people falling??

Thundercoaster was good, but based on my experiences with that ride it is starting to become a long time ago. I don't know excactly what has caused it to become as rough as it is, but it's not surprising considering that it's a fairly aggressive ride. I do seem to recall having heard that it was not designed for the Vekoma trains (the ride was designed by Allott and Lomax), but please don't take my word for it as I do not have any official source and it's a long time since I heard that. Probably we're talking about a combination of causes. Unfortunately various retracking/reprofiling over the years have taken away some of the intensity that the ride once was famous for, and those parts which doesn't have new track do not track well at all. The other two Vekoma woodies I cannot say anything about...

Of those I have been on: B&M: Superman Ultimate Flight. Like others have said, the pretzel loop is the only memorable part of the ride. Intamin: Colossus at Thorpe Park. Got some terrible headbanging on this one. My opinion is though only based on a single ride in 2005, I don't know how I would rate it now. GCI: Gwazi, no doubt! I also was not particularly fond of Wildcat at Hershey Park when I rode it back in 2008.

It's awesome to see aerial shots like these, you really get a great view of how theme parks create the illusion of being completely separated from the outside world.

I just make a mental note of anyone who would claim it as a new credit and add them to my list of people I don't want to hang out with. I find it far more entertaining to quietly judge people and use it as a weeding out process. I will give you another for this!

I never had a bad ride on Hulk, but the need for a refurb was definitely noticeable. It will be very interesting to see how much of the track will be replaced.

If it rides anything like the trick-track section on Cheetah Hunt it will be a lot of fun!

Damnit, here I thought I was going to get to list a coaster I no one had mentioned yet! But yeah, this one get's my vote as well. That was my thought as well after riding Kraken. Not a bad drop, but nothing particularly memorable.

That feeling when your favorite soccer team scores a late winner in an important match and everyone around you in the stadium is going absolutely mental!!!

I haven't been on many great wooden coasters, but for me it's the Intamin woodies that stands in a league of their own. El Toro is by far my favorite, followed by Balder.

It says the new investment will be ready for when the park opens in April next year. That's not a long time, considering they also have to remove rides. Will be interesting to see what the plans are.
