  1. Looks pretty good. I've never been much of a waterpark person, but those multilane racing slides are insanely fun!
  2. Keep the pictures coming! It's the off-season, we have nothing better to do. Well, maybe normal people do, but who cares about that?
  3. Looks like they have a problem with ants on the construction site..... oh wait, those are humans??
  4. Great trip report, awesome pictures! It really is fascinating to see how Indiana Beach built all these rides over water. Looks like a really unique place. Looks like the carp pond would be a good place to go if you have a body and you need to make it disappear.
  5. That was a great report, thanks for sharing! I think I need to pay Tivoli a visit next year.
  6. Easily El Toro @ SFGADV. Honorable mentions goes to Storm Runners tophat and first drop on Balder, both in the backseat.
  7. I think The Beast logo is pretty damn cool!
  8. I think riding this one was the lowest I've been as a coaster enthusiasts. Fortunately that was probably 10 years ago, and it's now been a long time since I cared about credits. Picture from park index
  9. Just came back from watching Star Wars. Overall I thought the movie was really good, I enjoyed it very much. I'm not much into Star Wars, but I liked all the references to the original trilogy, that was nice. It was also great to have a movie without a single annoying character. Obviously if you try to analyze a movie like this you can find a gazillion logical flaws, but I had a good time (and it seems to be the same for most people), and isn't that the main purpose of a movie? The biggest downside is that now I really want one of those stupid BB-8 toys...
  10. Yeah, I need to change my answer to this. I thought Batman @ SFNE was the most forgettable B&M I had ridden, but SUF was so forgettable I had forgotten it existed.
  11. I haven't been on any bad B&M's, so I'll have to say Batman @ SFNE, simply because it's the most forgettable of the B&M's I have ridden.
  12. My list of ridden Intamins is rather short, but of those I have been on I have to say Colossus @ Thorpe Park. Keep in mind though, I rode it all the way back in 2005 so memory is a bit faded, but I remember quite clearly bashing my ears into those horrible hard restraints.
  13. After some days with absolutely terrible weather we had a very nice clear Saturday, and today we woke up to the first snow of winter 2015/2016. Not much reason to celebrate though, it will all be gone again within the next 24-48 hours with no sign of it coming back any time soon. It has been nice though, added a little extra Christmas atmosphere.
  14. Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc
  15. I commented on this on Facebook as well, but I really love how the track is halfway buried in the snow in a few places!
  16. No tree in my apartment, but here's the Christmas tree at my parents house, where I will be spending the next days. And yes, there will very soon be gifts under the tree...
  17. What would be really interesting with VR would be randomized scenes, in a similar fashion to Star Tours where you don't know which scenes you're going to get on your ride. That could really add some fun to the ride!
  18. The two RCCA woodies in Spain, Coaster Express and Magnus Colossus, are both very forceless rides. The first one has some fairly strong positive G-forces at the bottom of the first drop/helix, but other than that both these rides do a whole lot of nothing. Unfortunately that whole lot of nothing is combined with a lot of pain...
  19. ^Obviously there are straight airtime hills on the coasters that RMC makes. I think what some people are missing are those large El Tory-style airtime hills. Storm Chasers second hill is of decent size. But as I said, this 'lack of straight hills' is really just an assumption from my side, and I will withhold my judgement until I have ridden Wildfire (and hopefully a couple of others RMC's). After that I can give my opinion on whether these rides needs more big straight hills or not. This is one of the things that makes me so excited to try my first RMC next year. I've heard many people saying that RMC's tends to deliver airtime in places where you don't expect it to be any airtime. Nothing like some good, surprising airtime on a rollercoaster...
  20. ^Do we know when Mack did the spinning car test? The video was released at IAAPA, but for all we know the test could have been done long ago. I'm not saying it was, just mentioning it as a theory. Spinning or not, this coaster looks like it's going to be absolute bonkers!!
  21. ^Yup, because obviously not a single animal has ever died due to illness in the wild... Edit: I started reading some of the comments, but I had to stop after a few as my brain could not handle the stupidity.
  22. Just watched the commercial, really cool video! I guess we should start seeing track in the not-so-distant future, very much looking forward to that. I still cannot fully believe that we are actually getting an RMC in Scandinavia! So excited to visit Kolmården next year... I have had the same thought about these RMC creations. But then again I haven't been on any of them yet, so I will withhold judgement until I have been on the ride. Then after that I can say if I wished the ride had more straight hills or not. Either way it will still be an incredible ride!
  23. This guy knows what he's talking about...
  24. Wow this really looks like an amazing trip! Great pictures, particularly those where the sun is out are fantastic! It must have been one hell of an experience! This seems like an appropriate name, considering the amount of penguin poop around the base...
  25. GCI did some retracking on Thundercoaster @ Tusenfryd, and one of the things they did was to reprofile the 90 degree turn. This turn used to have some crazy double-pumping stuff going on, but after the retracking it's all one smooth turn. I know I have complained about Thundercoaster being rough, but this turn I used to quite like and it's definitely a lot less intense now.
