  1. Looking good! It's always nice when you actually start seeing a ride coming together. Looks like it will be well integrated in the terrain. Thanks for the update!
  2. 7 Fjell "Småtøs", very delicious. *7 Fjell have named all their beers after local expressions, persons, locations, etc... "Småtøs" is a local expression for girl/woman.
  3. Fantastic! Definitely looks like the best flyer to be built so far, looking forward to hear the reviews once it opens.
  4. It's no longer fully dark when leaving work at 5 PM...
  5. Love that last picture! The whole area is going to look fantastic once it's done. The views from the paths around the ride should be great! Yeah but those things are the least of the issues that ride has! LOL so true!!!
  6. -12*C (10*F) this morning at my place. I may be a Norwegian, but living down in the city on the west coast I'm definitely not used to this kind of temperature. It's beautiful though, snow on the ground and clear skies.
  7. ^^Of course it's not true! That would conflict with the already existing plans to turn it into a giant snowball to have more Frozen stuff in the park...
  8. That was fantastic, thank you so much for sharing! Never thought a documentary about rollercoasters could be this emotional. Oh, and some of those coaster shots are absolutely stunning!
  9. That was pretty fun, I got 13/20.
  10. As expected. I think the show was fun watching it once, but after that I had absolutely no desire to watch it again.
  11. Maybe a tunnel at the bottom of the first drop? Looks really cool anyway...
  12. I will be hanging out with Nina Kleppe tomorrow evening.
  13. Went for the regular one tonight. It's a good one though...
  14. Looking forward to see them placing the supports and track for the MCBR/drop, they sure have a few obstacles in their way.
  15. Love the pretzel loop around the Jurassic Park gate, must look brilliant from the other side! Definitely one of the most interesting B&M projects in quite some time.
  16. That looks brilliant! It's awesome to see a small park like Fun Spot growing and really making a name for themselves among all the "big boys" in the city. Looks like the future is bright for this park.
  17. The artwork for the new riverbank looks fantastic! I'm sure it will be amazing once it's done.
  18. It will be great to see Montu get a new coat of paint. I cannot really recall the state of the paint during my visit last year, but I never thought of Montu as a ride that badly needed a repaint. However faded paint would probably stand out a lot more with a brand new shiny ride next to it. Looking forward to see the result.
  19. Great photos! I must say Scream really looks fantastic in it's new colours, really stands out against the sky. I also love the 3rd last photo of Full Throttle, with the train heading into the dive and with the low sun in the background.
  20. Speedmonster.... about 4 1/2 months ago.
  21. As it has already been said, most coasters are better at night. However there are some experiences that are more memorable than others, and I have to say that Big Thunder Mountain during Wishes is one of those. (thanks to Robb for the picture)
  22. Nice pictures, always interesting to see some of the work being done in parks during the off-season. Seems a bit strange to paint Odyssey yellow considering it's already intertwined with another yellow coaster. That being said, the colour scheme looks GREAT!
  23. Back to work tomorrow.... meh!
  24. Great report and some really nice pictures! I had a lot of fun meeting up with you and your group that evening. And yes, you are definitely correct about Liseberg at night, it's an amazing place. Easily one of my favorite parks! I had the same feeling, but around halfway through the ride I found that if I pushed my head against the soft headrest it was a lot more comfortable. Although that did cause the restraints to block some of the views.
  25. Today we are expected to have temperatures stay below freezing for the entire day. That hasn't happened in over 2 years, since December 7th 2013. Or 756 days to be exact. Maybe not something you would expect to hear from a Norwegian, but winters on the west coast are rarely very cold here and have a tendency to consist of mostly rain...
