Final match of the season today, we secured second place with a 2-1 win on a rather cold evening. Was a scrappy match, but I don't care!! Everyone thought before the season that we would be in the bottom half (myself included), but this season has just been beyond all expectations. And it was all topped off with a home win in front of a sold-out stadium (Attendance 17686) and a great atmosphere. Now it's 4 months without football (soccer, yes I know) but there will be a lot of work for the club to keep up the performance next year, and financially the club is still not in a good position due to previous years of mismanagement. But this league position brings in some very welcome income to the club! 3 hours after coming home I'm having a little "emotianal breakdown", I seriously have a little tear in the corner of my eye. It just took a few hours to realize what an achievement this is, considering we were playing at the second level last year. But for now.... can't wait to play in Europe next year!!! Woke up to the first snow of the winter this morning. Winter tires have now been put on the car.

This was brilliant breakfast entertainment this morning! The show was amazing, truly a worthy replacement for CTM!

Tusenfryd: #1 - Selling the park to Parques Reuindos in 2007. It was never the same after Linda Bernander Silseth left as CEO. #2 - Completely forgetting that good park operations plays a major role when it comes to guests having a good day at the park. #3 - Thor's Hammer, dark ride that was added in 2013. While it's not a bad ride, it was marketed as one of the biggest investments in the park history, and it does not live up to those expectations.

And following up "Fløien", their regular IPA. This one is coming in at 6,9% ABV and 75 IBU. Fun fact #2: Fløien is another of the seven mountains surrounding the city. This one is 399 meters tall and is by far the most visited mountain due to the funicular running from the city center to the top of the mountain. Fløibanen, the funicular running up the mountain.

Ulriken Double IPA from 7 Fjell Brewery. 8,5% ABV, 100 IBU. A very nice beer! (as most of the beers from this brewery) Fun fact: "7 Fjell" means "7 Mountains", and is named after the 7 mountains surrounding the city of Bergen. Ulriken is the highest of these mountains, with a height of 643 meters above sea level.

LOL that video was funny as hell! Awesome that the parks are doing this, I love it! Oh, and as for which ride will be renamed...

I'm loving those colors as well! Those brightly colored cars are going to look great spinning around the track!

I love the sound of Arrow/Vekoma coasters as the train is disengaging the lifthill.

I hate when it takes forever to board a plane because everyone is bringing their suitcase as carry-on luggage!!

After changing the clock in the weekend it is now fully dark by 5:30 PM and for every day up until just before Christmas it's going to get darker earlier and earlier in the evening. I don't like this period of darkness, it seems to really suck the energy out of you.

^Good luck in the world cup qualification! I've always enjoyed watching the US team in the world cup, so I hope you make it. Thanks, we secured a top-3 spot today after winning away! Final game of the season at home next weekend, if we win that one we will get 2nd place. But the most important is that we get a shot at playing in Europe next year, something we haven't done since 2008.

Well, I'm bringing this thread back up again. It has been one hell of a season for us, after a season on the second level of football in Norway, we were back in the top division this year, and with only two matches left of the season we are in second place. No chance of winning the league, there is a huge gap up to first place, but the fight to remain in second place will be very exciting. Theoretically we can end up as low as 5th place, but either way it has been a fantastic season for us. Before it started I said I would be very happy if we managed to stay out of the relegation battle, and I think it's safe to say we managed that pretty well. I see that my average attendance prediction of around 12k has been pretty much spot on, with one home match remaining our average attendance is 12001 LOL! Been a couple of good shows this season as well, here from the last two home matches.

Some park.... somewhere.... maybe...

Sweet trip report! I visited Hershey Park back in 2008 and I would love to visit again. I absolutely loved Storm Runner back then, as you say it's 30 seconds of insanity! And of course any trip report that includes plenty of beer is always good one!
