  1. Dang, I didn't know the Carnival cruise ships were THAT cheap!!
  2. I assume there will be a live stream of this...?? Edit: After looking the park up on Bing maps and seeing the small size of the park I'm convinced this will be a perfect fit for the park, and an absolute fitting replacement for the Schwarzkopf Looping Star!
  3. That looks like a nice little park! I love seeing trip reports from parks I know little or nothing about, thanks for sharing!
  4. That looks like a very fun ride! Yes it's short, but for a small park it will be a great addition!
  5. This looks absolutely sweet! I would love to get one and the price of the kit is absolutely worth it! Unfortunately with transatlantic shipping and customs clearance it just becomes a tad too expensive for me. But I hope it becomes a big success for you guys!
  6. Regardless of the quality of the game, anyone else think this Disko concept was pretty cool??
  7. Der Zug des Manitu - Wiener Prater (video taken by David Ellis during the ECC 2005 Coaster Rhapsody tour, which I was a part off. I was not on this ride when this video was taken though.
  8. Beer, coasters and culture, I'd rank it in the exact same order! Sweet report so far, thanks for sharing! Looking forward to the next part!
  9. So cool that you got to see all that awesome stuff up-close! I loved the "regular" tour at Kennedy Space Center, so I can only imagine how awesome it must be to do all this "special stuff". I'm so bummed we missed a launch on our visit to Orlando two years ago, we were supposed to head out at night to watch a launch, but weather was not coorperating so we stayed at home and the launch was postponed to the following night. Unfortunately that came in conflict with other plans, so we didn't go... This is so true! Seeing a real spaceshuttle up-close was one of few moments in my life which has left me in total awe!

  11. Great trip report from what looks like a very nice little park. It's always fun to see trip reports from parks I know pretty much nothing about besides the rollercoasters. Thanks for sharing!
  12. Hi and welcome to the forums! I've been to Gent twice (visiting the Volvo Trucks plant) so I have seen a little of the city center. Very nice city!
  13. I'm thinking we might be looking at some sort of darkride, possibly with some coaster elements. Very curious to find out more, because I'm very confused by this thing!
  14. So here comes a quick trip report from Bergen Beerfestival yesterday. I had a great day, with lots of good beer. If my count is correct I sampled 16 different beers from 14 different breweries, and pretty much all was good stuff! Weather wasn't always on our side, but I still had a fantastic day that I enjoyed very much! Unfortunately I didn't take many beer pictures, so they're mostly showing the festival area. Welcome to Bergen Beerfestival Started the day at the local 7 Fjell Brewery, my favorite brewery! I started with a Cherry Berliner Weisse. A fresh and easy start! As you can see the weather wasn't the greatest... ..which lead to the tents being rather crowded! This was how it looked in between the rain showers. And time to take cover again!!! In the afternoon the weather cleared and we hed some really nice hours towards the end of the festival. Ending the mini-TR with one last crowd shot.
  15. Wow what an amazing looking event! I would absolutely love to be there! Thanks for sharing it with us, so that we who live in other parts of the world also get to experience a little of the magic through our screens!
  16. Going to Bergen Beer Festival tomorrow. 41 breweries, 400 different beers being serwed. Theres gonna be a lot of beer tasting to do tomorrow...
  17. I love how every time a thread gets boring (by that I mean users are banned, posts are deleted and discussion returns to normal) a new thread steps up to provide new entertainment. First it was the Kings Dominion thread, then the Valleyfair thread, and now it's the Dorney Park thread that provides the "fun"! Not sure if the mods agree with me though...
  18. Of the rides you listed I've only been on Mummy (well, the Florida version), but I can definitely see it being a scarier experience beeing the only one on the ride.
  19. ^Well, the launch might require a bit more space than what most people have, but that turntable switchtrack is totally doable!!
  20. Awesome trip report, thanks for sharing! Always fun to see stuff you normally don't see much of, at least on this site. Firing those WW2 guns must have been an awesome experience!
  21. ^It sure is intriguing, that's for sure! I have no idea what we're looking at here!
  22. On the bright side, it's better than being dead! I don't have a home park...
  23. Going back to work today after 3 weeks vacation was tough. I really struggled to get out of bed today. Starting the day with 252 unread e-mails didnt help LOL!
  24. 1. Wildfire 2. 3. It was awesome though!
