That looks awesome! I love how the world is getting more and more high-quality family coasters. It looks like an incredibly fun ride! Will be interesting to see what manufacturer it will be, I'm expecting a Vekoma, but it's not possible to make any conclusions from the video. Concept art can never be trusted 100%.

Stunning scenery! Based on the pictures the only thing I'm missing is a bit more vegetation, but I see that they have planted some small trees and bushes around the ride so I expect that in some time it will look even better. I also saw a backseat POV which gave me a completely different perspective on the ride compared to the first POV with the camera mounted close to the track. I simply did not realize the crazy amount of close calls with the surrounding scenery.

I visited Liseberg on a Thursday in late August last year and had no problems with crowds. The only ride that had a bit of a line was Mechanica (30-40 mins), which was new last year. All other rides varied from short lines (<15 mins) to walk-on. So I don't think crowds should be a problem, I can however not guarantee anything. But even with a bit of a crowd it shouldn't be a problem, Liseberg have some of the best operations around. See link for my trip report in my signature. Liseberg does offer an express-pass, if you purchase your ticket online in advance you will receive fastpass on 3 rides of your choice. I don't think I even used all of mine during my visit last year. Looking at the website, I'm only seeing the "Purchase tickets" option available through the Swedish version of the website. I had no problems purchasing tickets from Norway last year, but I don't know if they have any restrictions on from which countries you can purchase tickets. Great report, looks like you're having an absolute blast! Gröna Lund is indeed a fantastic park! By the way, did they recently repaint Jetline? The colors looks so fresh in the pictures!

^^That's a totally fair post! And I do agree that it's up to each person to decide how they want to rank the coasters they have ridden. But from an enthusiasts standpoint, there seems to be a fairly shared view of what make a truly world-class ride and this doesn't seem to tick all the required boxes in my book. That being said, it looks like it will be an extremely fun ride in an immersive environment, and the only true way to determine the ride quality will be to ride it.

That was pretty much my exact thought while watching the video. I love Cheetah Hunt for what it does, so I'm sure I would really enjoy this ride as well. I don't think it's a ride that will break into the top 5-lists, but it looks super-fun and I'm sure it will be super-popular!

^I'm as puzzled as you about this.... Naturally the various news sites here in Norway have picked up on it, and as expected the comments sections are littered with uneducated GP comments like "this is why I don't ride rollercoasters" or "what if this had happened when we went to Tusenfryd"...

Some posts are more annoying than others.... On a sidenote, I have the most annoying fly in my appartment at the moment!

Wander and wonder seems to be a bit of a challenge... I'm also puzzled by the amount of times I see people write break instead of brake, is it really that difficult??

No, not weird, but I do wander where the other designs went and if they were used for another coaster. The other plans just wandered off. When Tusenfryd first announced Speedmonster the concept art was showing 4 inversions. It also said so in the text. However at one point the first corkscrew was changed to an S-hill. Fun fact, my city Bergen is represented in three different amusement parks outside of Norway.... Epcot, Legoland Denmark and Hansa Park.

Hmmm flights to Hamburg are quite cheap! Might have to head down there when I have vacation time in August and check out Hansa Park!

Kolmården just confirmed on facebook that the new cylinders have not arrived yet, and that the ride will be closed this weekend. They plan to open the ride beginning of next week.

Currently trying my 15th beer from the local 7 Fjell Brewery and it's another winner. This time it's their Svartediket Black IPA (Svartediket, translating to black dike, is a local artifical lake that is supplying the city with drinking water). Seriously good stuff! (and apparently I'm not the ) Obviously not the kind of stuff you drink loads of when you want to get drunk with your friends, but for sitting down and enjoying a beer it's wonderful! Possibly my new favorite from 7 Fjell! The first 14....
