Theme Park Personality Quiz
momo1tx replied to jobber73's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I got Busch Gardens Tampa. -
You mean the Blue Streak in Indiana? I've always wondered whati t's like, I've heard it's fun. For that matter, Robb, have you ridden that wooden coaster in Oklahoma?
-
While I almost always have a good experience at SFA, the crowds and ride ops really are bad. The loading rate is horrible, but since I've only been on a weekend once, in May, I'ven ever had much trouble with lines. But come on, 5 minutes to dispatch a Batwing train shows how much they care. And of course, there is that picture Robb has of the smoking ride op.

SFA's got some pretty bad guests, but then again you have to consider the park is right next to Anacostia, D.C.'s "ghetto" area.

I hate the people who insist getting all 20 people in their group on one train, cutting other people in the process. I also hate people who cut through the entire line saying something like "My mom's up there". I should just stop them and tell tem to get their mom to go back.

The park that TPR built!

Here's mine, it's a small fairground themed section, Coaster County Fairgrounds, with a looping ship, Flip Express, a scrambler, Sizzler, and a compact headbanging looping coaster, Big Loop. It's also a few fairground stalls. Yes, the theme is supposed to be lame, aren't all local fairs? How do I post a screenshot? offical_themeparkreview_park_10-09-05_137.SV6 -

Six Flags Acres of Adventure

I really like this ride, however I don't like the colors, and I think something other than the standard grass should be below the ride. -

I've got SFA and PKD near me, I don't go to PKD half as much as I should, and I go to SFA twice as much as I should.

Which coaster fits your personality?

Any SLC because at first look it looks like I'd be fun, but being with me gives you a headache after awhile. -

I was at the Nationals game today, it's a bummer that they lost. At least the Phils didn't make it to the playoffs.

Weirdest way I got a few rerides: I was visiting SFA, and was in the waterpark. The lines were long, around a half hour for the top slides, and at the front of the park rides like Wild One and Typhoon had longish waits. I went to the back of the park to rides the park's best coaster, S:ROS. And there were NO lines! I got seven rides, would have been in a row if I hadn't gotten off once to get a walk-on ride on Batwing . It was a great experience, and then my last ride, after these walk-ons, was a 20 minute wait for Joker's Jinx. Made no sense.

Paramount's Kings Dominion

Personally I don't like Grizzly too much. It's a little too rough for my taste, and doesn't give the airtime mentioned, in my opinion. I had heard about how the retracking helped, but it was still too rough for me. -

Whoa! That's bigger than I expected! So much for my "Kiddie Ka" expectation of this ride.
