  1. I don't have just one favorite, so here's my top 5 for California in no particular order... Batman-The Ride Flight Deck Xcelerator California Screamin' Space Mountain The worst would probably be Kong and Vortex.
  2. I'm kind of hoping it's not a B&M because so many people are positive it is. Actually, an Invert, Dive, or good sit-down would be good with me. Just please no Wing, flying, or stand-up version.
  3. People ask why I ride the kid coasters, I say why not. Though I would never borrow someone's kid, if the ride required it. ...Unless it's family of course.
  4. True, there will always be some technical problems from time to time, but Gringotts will become a lot more reliable down the road. I'm sure they were saying the same thing when Spider-Man first opened and now it's as reliable as any ride or coaster in either park. It just takes time.
  5. I don't hate it and I know not everyone loves it, but I would have to say HRRR at Universal. I'm just not a big fan is all and would have preferred a Hollywood Dream like coaster instead.
  6. Could you imagine what it would be like to have Gringotts on Express right now?
  7. While Dueling Dragons-Fire is not hated, I definitely like it more than the average Joe. ...Especially the back row right side seat. I love the first drop and the downward helix heading into the loop. After all these years, it's still very smooth in the back row too. ...Yes, I still call it Dueling Dragons, and I always will.
  8. Dueling Dragons-Fire a couple weeks ago. I went one last time before all the crazy Potter crowds arrived. I'm waiting for a season pass event or school to start up again before attempting Gringotts.
  9. I would change everything back to the original Superman:ROS at SFNE. ...Starting with the damn trains.
  10. Last I heard it was about 45 minutes, but that was around 11:00-11:30 this morning. They definitely were better prepared this time around. But it was a combination of things that made it go smoother, like letting them in early, having the queues out of the way of the main traffic areas, and a middle of the week opening. ...Plus Diagon Alley has higher capacity than Hogsmeade and you have a 6 hour line for Gringotts. As for Gringotts, it was a little of both. I believe they were running 3 of the possible 7 trains, so it was running at about half capacity, but there was also a lot of people in line. So, when you have a six hour wait for Gringotts, the rest of DA is probably going to look a little less crowded. On a side note, I've only heard of 2 break downs so far today for Gringotts. I would consider that a success at this point.
  11. ^Yea, heard Hogwarts Express was cycling really well today. ... And while Gringotts was cycling, it still was having some issues.
  12. There will definitely be long lines for most of the popular attractions. It's summer in Orlando plus Harry Potter 2.0 will officially be opening just 2 days after your visit. If you only have one day, I would go with the 2 park ticket. ...Either get the Express Pass or use the single rider line to its fullest. Otherwise, it's doubtful you'll get on everything you want to in both parks in just one day. Here's a list of rides with single rider lines that I know of. Universal Studios Florida- Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket, MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack, and Revenge of the Mummy (Also Gringott may or may not have one during softs, if it's in softs for the GP when you're visiting) Islands of Adventure- The Amazing Adventure of Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk Coaster, Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls, Dr. Doom's Fearfall, and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. It's definitely doable if you get there before opening and either get the Express pass or use the single rider lines. ...Good luck and have fun.
  13. ^^^Yea, I actually prefer any seat in the front and the middle two in the back. Any way you slice it, it's in my top 5.
  14. Glad to see the B&M Batman coasters getting some love here. ...After all these years, those Batman coasters are still right there with Kumba and DD-Fire as my favorite B&Ms.
  15. ...Only time will tell. I'm sure there will be some form of softs. We're still waiting on info on the TM previews, which will be first, and also AP and hotel guest previews. Not to mention the special vacation packages that start on the 29th. BTW, fantastic job on the media event coverage, Adam.
  16. Finally!!! I'm always looking forward to a new Jurassic movie. ...With the first one still being one of my favorites.
  17. I really can't complain about any of the parks here in central Florida, but we can always use an Intamin or RMC coaster. ...BGT, are you listening.
  18. Add to me to the list of people who really love the new FP+. I used it for the first time this past Wednesday at DHS and didn't have a problem at all. With getting our reservations in advance, we were able to ride TOT 3 times and R n' RC a couple times (using single rider) first thing, before heading to the other side of the park for our reserved rides. ...Just renewed my weekday season pass, and awaiting my MagicBand. ...Already looking at ride times at the end of the month for our next visit.
  19. I just got back from seeing Captain America this afternoon. Along with The Avengers, this is probably the best of all the Marvel movies to date. ...And that's saying a lot with the first Captain America, the first Iron man, and both Thor movies being really good. I really recommend seeing this one on the big screen. Grade: Very solid A. On a side note, I can't wait for Guardians of the Galaxy in August. ...I guess I just can't get enough of this Marvel Universe on the big screen.
  20. My closest 3: 1. LEGOLAND Florida- 7-8 minutes 2. WDW- 40-45 minutes 3. Old Town/Fun Spot- 40-45 minutes Also, SeaWorld- 45-50 minutes, Universal & Fun Spot America- 50-55 minutes, and BGT about 70-75 minutes.
  21. Yea, Kong has been linked to Universal Florida for nearly a year now. First rumored as a replacement for Disaster and now in the area above. It really hasn't been much of a secret for months now. As far as the ride itself, all the details out there point to it being much more than just a 3D screened attraction.
