Perhaps it's from the many years of riding coasters, but very few B&Ms do anything for me at this point. While I still really enjoy the older ones, I definitely don't plan any trips around any of the newer ones. I figure eventually I'll get on the newer B&Ms when an Intamin or RMC is built nearby. Oh well, I've accepted that it's just the way it is at this point. Back to Carowinds, I'm really hoping it's not another B&M wing coaster. ...but that's just me. -

You're in for a treat when you do finally ride Coaster at Playland. Just like Timber Terror, looks can be deceiving. It's just a real fun coaster with some crazy airtime. I also agree that Silverwood has some of the best wood coasters around. I actually have Coaster, Tremors, and Timber Terror in my top 10, having been on most of the woodies here in the US/Canada. -

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?

Big Timber Log Ride at Enchanted Forest, yesterday. I really enjoyed my short visit to this small local family park. If in the area, I truly recommend stopping in for a visit to this charming little park. -

Ugh, are we back to it possibly being another B&M wing coaster here in the US. -
^Really, refurbing Ride of Steel's train in the middle of the summer??? If that's even remotely true, it's really unacceptable for the crown jewel ride of the park. As far as ride maintenance goes, it should be the #1 priority to have their best ride running at full capacity as much as possible. ...Especially throughout the summer season.

...Big fan of Fahrenheit too. I think the trio of Intamins at Hershey definitely rival the big three at Cedar Point. -

If we're hoping for an Invert, my vote goes with something big and powerful like Katun. -

If being a little too short is the only complaint, I'll take that any day of the week. ...It's much better than being boring or rough. -
Agreed!!! They should have just kept it simple. Just rehab the trains, give the track/supports a fresh coat of red and blue, have mist in the tunnels, and audio (Superman theme song) only on the lift hill (speakers on the railings, NOT on the trains). That would have been much simpler and a whole heck of a lot better in my mind. Why screw with what was the best steel coaster in the US?

If it's a B&M, please let it be an Invert or Dive coaster.
