  1. Cedar Fair: Maverick Six Flags: El Toro SeaWorld Entertainment: Kumba Herschend: Outlaw Run/ Powder Keg Universal: DD-Fire Disney Parks: California Screamin'/ Space Mnt (DLR) Parques Reunidos: Phantom's Revenge/ Boulder Dash Hershey: SkyRush
  2. DD-Fire, yesterday morning. Between Fire and Ice I was able to get in 10 rides in just under 1 hour. Also, rode Gringotts twice first thing, both walk-ons. I just want to thank the majority of guests who waited till around 11:00 or so to show up yesterday.
  3. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the rain at Magic Kingdom this past Friday. ...both times I rode were walk-ons. Also, Splash Mountain was a walk-on for a short time due to the afternoon rain.
  4. Batman-The Ride, opening year (1993) at SF Great Adventure. I think I'm down to only 3 B&Ms left in the US to ride. ...With 2 of those 3 already planned for next year, Banshee and GateKeeper.
  5. The way it works is that you buy your discounted season pass online, print the receipt and head off to the park (tell the parking guy that you'll be upgrading to gold and they'll let you park for free). Trust me, Trust me, Trust me Your getting no parking from the parking guy at toll gate until you either pay cash or charge or present your gold parking season pass. Showing your piece of paper is nothing until it has been processed and that covers parking. Your best bet is allow some time and pull into guest pick / up drop / off area and drop a person off and have them go get their gold season pass and come back to car and let that person then go take the car and park it in parking lot while the other person gets their season gold pass and meets you back at a predetermined area. I don't know if it's different from park to park, because when I went to process my season pass at SFGAM back in May I just showed my piece of paper to the parking guy and he waved me through.
  6. My vote goes to DD-Fire, though I do enjoy Ice a lot too. When making my yearly steel coaster list, Fire always seems to sneak into my top 10 or so.
  7. Really, 5 B&M hypers in the top 10??? ... Maybe Goliath and Nitro in the top 15-20, maybe. The rest of them, um no.
  8. With the summer season almost over and no new credits left for the year, here's my tentative lists. WOOD 1. El Toro 2. Phoenix 3. Outlaw Run 4. Boulder Dash 5. Coaster (Playland) 6. Ravine Flyer II 7. The Voyage 8. Tremors 9. Timber Terror 10. American Thunder (Honorable mention: Lightning Racer, Raven, Thunderhead) STEEL 1. Phantom's Revenge 2. Superman:ROS (SFNE) 3. NTAG 4. Maverick 5. Skyrush 6. I-305 7. Kumba 8. DD-Fire 9. Storm Runner 10. Millennium Force/TTD (Honorable mention: Ride of Steel, Goliath (SFOG), Montu, Powder Keg, Batman-TR, Fahrenheit)
  9. Both coasters are easily the two I'm looking forward to the most next year. With that said, I have to give the edge to Wicked Cyclone. ...I just don't have any trust in SFMM to keep TC running the way it's suppose to.
  10. My current list... (2014 coasters not included) Alabama: Rampage California : Flight Deck/Batman-TR/Xcelerator Carolinas: Afterburn Connecticut: Boulderdash Florida: Kumba/DD-Fire Georgia: Goliath Idaho: Tremors Illinois: Batman: TR Indiana: Voyage Kentucky: Kentucky Rumbler Maryland: S:ROS Massachusetts: Boulder Dash Missouri: Outlaw Run New Jersey: El Toro New York: Ride of Steel Ohio: Maverick Pennsylvania: Phoenix Tennessee: Thunderhead Texas: NTAG Virginia - I305 Wisconsin: Hellcat
  11. ^Yea, and it's ridiculous that someone needs to bring it up.
  12. How about we all stop telling people how to feel, what to say, or what opinion to have about this coaster. Worry about yourself and let's talk about the coaster. Everyone has their right to feel whatever they want about the coaster and they shouldn't have to defend themselves.
  13. ...WOW, and people talk about Intamin fanboys. I really do like the color scheme and the whole Hornets tie-in. But that's probably because the Charlotte Hornets were my favorite NBA team till they moved to N.O.
  14. I see people are still finding ways to bring up Time Machine. This subpar B&M gets more attention now then when it was open.
  15. Not to hijack this thread, but Silverwood should be investing in their 2 awesome woodies before getting a new large coaster. I'm talking about making the proper modifications to improve capacity because right now it's pitiful. ...Both coasters need to be run with 2 trains.
  16. Outlaw Run 7 times yesterday. ...A fantastic coaster to go along with a fantastic park.
  17. It's still the best launch I've ever experienced. Unfortunately, after the top hat the rest of the ride was ....
  18. ^It said April or late May, so we can probably rule out any Six Flags park too.
  19. Just got back from seeing Guardians of the Galaxy at the IMAX in Orlando. Only have one word to describe this movie, AWESOME!!!! It's probably my second favorite movie in the whole Marvel Universe. ...Only behind The Avengers.
  20. I'll be flying out to Idaho in 3 weeks, but I'll make a stop first in Missouri to visit WOF, SF St.L, and SDC. I'll also be visiting Silverwood later that week.
  21. Sad, isn't it? While I'll be the first to say I'm not a big fan of Wing coasters, I do however like that it's a launched coaster with some nice interaction with the Voyage and the terrain.
  22. ...Consider yourself lucky. This is the way I see it, some think it's a B&M Wing coaster and some of us hope it's not.
  23. I agree that Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was very well done. It's probably my second favorite movie of the year just behind Captain America and just ahead of X-Men.
