  1. Kumba Still the best in Florida and one of the best in the US.
  2. The Incredible Hulk this morning.
  3. The week before the week of Thanksgiving is a good time to go. This year it would be the week of Nov. 10th. The best time to go though would be after Thanksgiving weekend from Nov. 26th through the first two weeks of December. Also, the last couple of weeks of October is pretty good too with crowds. Minus the week of Thanksgiving, the middle of October through to the middle of December is my favorite time of the year to visit the parks.
  4. Tell me about it. Once these 3 projects are done, not to mention Despicable Me just opening this summer, nearly a quarter of the park will be brand new. ...quite impressive if you ask me.
  5. Interesting that my top 6 wooden coaster is the same, just not in that order. This is more like it: 1. El Toro 2. Phoenix 3. Boulder Dash 4. The Voyage 5. Ravine Flyer II 6. Thunderhead How is any B&M hyper in the top ten, but i305 is nowhere to be found? ...Fixed.
  6. Apocalypse is definitely not a airtime machine, but it has a couple decent moments. ...It's probably my favorite coaster in the park too.
  7. ^I say families need to suck it up. Heck, a 15-20 minute wait is a hell of a lot better than 2 hours. Just think how many other rides you can go on together with that time saved with the single rider line. Then again, I rather they not use the single rider line so it's shorter for me.
  8. Well yea, I was replying to a reply about the article after all. As for the parks... I enjoy going to both, so there's really no reason for me to pick a favorite.
  9. A Dive Machine would definitely be my first choice, if it ends up being a B&M.
  10. I have to admit that I have grown to appreciate all the Disney parks over the last 5 years or so. ...even EPCOT. Of the six US Disney parks I've been to, this would be my order of preference... 1. Disneyland- The better Space Mnt. and POTC, not to mention Indy too. ...need I say more. 2. Magic Kingdom- While slightly below Disneyland as my favorite, it's still in my top 5 favorite parks overall. 3. DCA- Cars land now puts this slightly ahead of DHS, even if Florida does have the better TOT. 4. DHS- Still needs another E-ticket. 5. DAK- The new Avatar land will be a much needed addition. 6. EPCOT- While last on this list, I still like the park a lot.
  11. ^I'm a fan too. RRE was definitely the surprise coaster for me when I visited this past June. It's probably my favorite mine train ride that's not located in a Disney park. ...Though I haven't been on Thunderation yet.
  12. ^Yea, it was a little odd. But overall, I really only disagreed with two of his picks. ...Raptor/Batman and MF/X2. The way I see it, from top to bottom SFMM has the better collection, while CP's top 3 (MF, TTD, Maverick) beats anything the Mountain has to offer.
  13. ROTM @ USF this morning. ...7 walk-on rides is always a good thing.
  14. Darn! Here I thought the question would finally be answered. ...What would rides be like on the moon?
  15. Would definitely like to see more details about this particular perk, ie how early and how often it will be available. They've kind of been testing it on Sunday's over the summer. I'd guess you get in at 10:00am vs. 10:30. Yep, I used my season pass from SFFT to get in at 10:00am last Sunday. I was able to get a couple rides in on Tatsu and also get a head start to X2 before the general public was let in.
  16. Love it!!!!!!!!!!! Without riding it or seeing it built yet, I know it's an immense improvement over the old Rattler. This is now my #1 most anticipated coaster for 2013.
  17. Overall, I like the look of the new coaster. ...Though I could do without the backward launch to be perfectly honest. I know it's crazy, but I would prefer just the 2 forward launches. Like others have said, I may get my wish soon enough with that. As for anticipated coasters for 2013, I would probably put this at #5.
  18. ^^Very true. They had me excited about this project as soon as I heard it was going to be built by GCI.
  19. What a great addition to the Boardwalk. These are easily my favorites of any of the wild mouse coasters, spinning or not. Good choice guys!!!
  20. That pretty much sums it up for me too. I was there in June and really enjoyed my visit. To date, SFOG and SFOT are my two favorite parks in the chain.
  21. Giant Dipper at Belmont this past Friday.
  22. Without a doubt, it would be El Toro. Reasons: The Rolling Thunder hill, need I say more. Oh, and the first drop ain't too shabby either.
