  1. Thanks everyone! Holiday Sale is now over, all orders have been shipped out as of today!
  2. I wish someone had video of your 'gas station' fall!
  3. Exactly! We don't spend $75/month on digital cable or $10/month to get premium channels. DirecTV comes with a million channels (basic package!) and Tivo for $49.99 a month!
  4. Hmmm, I should probably pack at some point too! Thanks for motivating me!
  5. Wow, see that's weird... Robb had to really convince me to get DirecTV, but now I LOVE it!!! I can't imagine going back to cable! Our cable in Florida would go out at least once a week due to storms and other randomness. We have NEVER had any issue with our Satellite dish, and we've had rain, a bit of thunder, and lots of smoke. For us Satellite is also significantly cheaper. We get all of the local and major channels and I believe that for what we have if we had cable it would be about $30 more a month! Oh, and my Tivo rules!!!
  6. Awwww, I'm glad you have hair again!!! *you look sexy*
  7. Dude, that looks awesome! I want to do the Sky Jump!
  8. I thought we decided your new name was hypotenuse?
  9. Most of our hotels have WiFi so we'll try our hardest! We have a few '36 hour' days so those we might not be able to post on a regular basis! Silly redeye flights and overnight at Disney!
  10. Ok, I guess I better post the story before my reputation gets even worse (although I'm not sure if that's possible!!) So we've been shopping for 'warm' clothes for our upcoming trip. For whatever reason I think that the smaller sized women of Valencia are not allowed to be warm since after going to 3 different stores Robb had all of his 'thermals' and I had one slightly too big pair of thermal pants!!! Finally at the last resort (walmart) I gave up...no women's sizes under elephant, and the girls sizes were all for like 4 year olds. I went to the boys section and there they were! All kinds that would fit me! Now granted the pants fit a little weird, so I had to stuff a few socks to fill them out!!! But it will work, and I'll be happy when I'm warm and not freezing next week! As for the apartment...grrr, that's a sore subject. We seriously clean it every week and this is how it gets by the end of it...stupid Robb and his computer mess!
  11. Where's the picture of the Cat Trashed Apartment!!!!??? I was really looking forward to that one! Thanks again for your great TR!
  12. That might be a good one to post, although it's like 7 minutes long so who knows!!!
  13. Yeah, seriously, the coasters are by no means amazing, it's just that the parks, country, and people are so great you'll want to go back over and over again!
  14. I seriously would only budget about 4 hours for SFDL, and that's if it's crowded. The park only has one coaster that you'd want to reride, and compared to SFNE's SROS it's not that amazing. It was also VERY busy when we were at PCW. I believe someone told me that it has insane attendance due to the park being in Canada where there's nothing to do! Seriously, get there early, ride the low capacity stuff, leave if it gets unbearable then go back before closing.
  15. I know we have at least a few members in active service travelling around the world riding cool coasters!
  16. I believe they teach butter churning and barn raising!
  17. You will NOT be able to use the Print n Go tickets. You have to live within 300 miles of the park to do it. There are discounted tickets sold at your hotel. Within 5 miles of that Holiday Inn is ALL FOOD KNOWN TO MAN! Pick whatever you want, it's nearby!
  18. It's also more of a safety thing though. Not having to open your purse, open your wallet, potentially lose something, etc. It's basically like the speed pass, but it actually works and doesn't involve entering ANY info. I know that McDonalds is trying to do this with MasterCard. I love the idea and hope it makes it out here soon.
  19. I think we're all caught up in Animal Crossing at the moment!!!
  20. I would rather visit WDW in Florida.
  21. I believe it was a Hallmark Keepsake Ornament called the Polar Coaster...I have one too! I told you in chat, but I'll tell you again, Great TR! I love my photo geeking out at Tatsu!
  22. Ok, so I'm helping them out a bit. My mom's TR is posted below, and I'm attaching my dad's photos! The trip starts with a road rally of sorts around the parking lot as we try to figure out where to park- we didn't pay for preferred parking but that is where we end up because the park is quite empty. Because we are old we enter the park and head for the bathroom. With that taken care of we head next to the alligator pond near the entrance. There is a big crowd there-maybe 20 people because one of the reptiles is actually moving- but after he finds a comfortable spot he lies motionless like the rest of the gators in the pond. We stand there with the rest of the idiots waiting for something to happen but finally we get bored and move on . Russell asks is it time for beer yet? Our next exciting stop is the Horses (those special ones with the big furry feet- I forgot their name) One is getting a bath which we watch- they use a squegee to rinse him- he snorts at us and we move on. Next stop is Montu- hey only a 5 minute wait- we stay to take a picture discussing which body part it will hurt the most if we take a ride....Russell says I"m not going upside down- Is it time for beer yet? We move on- I take a quick ride on Santa's sleigh and we proceed to watch the tortoises getting a bath with a hose. Intelligent design? It is painful to watch the giant tortoises move. Next is Rhino Rally, something that we will actually ride- the truck comes into the station with two old people (well- older than us) on it but they do not get off and we just join them- I guess they are riding it all day- We all help navigate- despite the fact that most of the trip seems to follow a track- it was the first time that I rode it and it was fun and must have been quite expensive to build. We are getting exhausted after so much excitement so we look for a show- we end up in the" R.L. Stine Scary Lighthouse Ghost Mystery 4 D Adventure Spit at you movie." It is actually fun but amazing how much water they spray at you in a theatre but it has a nice happy ending. We head out and look for food- we end up in the main festival hall for a cornbeef sandwich and meatball hero. There is a Christmas show going on with fake elves (tall guys pretending to be short) we wonder why they couldn't get some midgets for the part? The midway games are too expensive for us to waste money on but the Stewie , Brian and Peter dolls are sure cute. Sheikra seems to be running but with no passengers- I hear the girl telling people to come back later- what a shame I can't ride. We watch python and scorpion but they appear almost deserted. Russell doesn't want to ride and I'm not riding alone. We see a crowd ahead and hear some announcements so we head in that direction. It appears to be feeding time for the Tigers and some Busch girls are throwing raw meatballs at the tigers- The tigers are staring up at the humans probably wishing that someone will fall in the pit- to really eat someone would be more fun than getting hit on the snout with chop meat. The train is coming in to Stanleyville so we hop on for a ride around (and a quick nap) the park- Actually we see a lot of animals they seem more active on the cool weather. Well now it is time for beer so we go to the hospitality place and sample some and also go to the Beer school- one of the beers tastes bad and they tell us that they heated it in an oven to show us what beer tastes like when it goes bad- well I guess thats why you go to beer school- They have a new drink with caffiene so we drink that last for our drive home. Well so that was our day which we enjoyed very much without once going head over feet. Thanks for reading! Now maybe you guys can see where I get it from!!! Thanks mom and dad for your great TR! Oh yeah, BGT opened up a brand new coaster this year...it's pretty good I guess.. Stupid no line for Sheikra and they won't even ride!!! More Family Guy stuff! Mmmmm Meat!!! Cool, Family Guy prizes! Hey, that's the elissa signature take a picture of yourself pose! Yay they finally rode a ride!!! Is this a new credit? Yay Montu! Oh no! He's doing the signature move!! Ewww smelly nasty horses! So is my dad!!! Yay! My mom's representing TPR!!! Grrr I'm angry reptile.
  23. Hmmm...I don't think I can put them in order... WDW TDR IOA/Uni Europa Park SDC Knoebels Blackpool Dells SFGAd Busch Gardens Tampa
  24. I don't think that SFMM will get any negative effects from having another 4D halfway across the world!!! The fact is, 99% of the people that go to SFMM will never even have heard there's another one, let alone go and ride it!
