Since you put it out there Jarvis, let me give you a quick few things... - It almost didn't make the cut because of all of the effects!!!! We honestly thought you would have had one of the best had it not been for the 'cheesy premier effects'. I want you to understand that this is just our personal belief, and please don't take it has negative criticism, but it is one of those things...as you watch TV, how often do you see effects like that? Not just the Discovery channel roller coaster shows, but television in general. Sometimes an effect can enhance a clip, but when they are used so common, it kind of loses the effect. (Does that make sense!?!?) Again, you had one of the best videos, but sometimes you go over the top with effects.

^It actually wasn't the music. It was just too many effects if I remember correctly. I have a list of notes that we made on each video if anyone has a question about why they did or didn't make the cut. In general here are some of my thoughts overall on all of the videos as to which ones made and did not make the cut: Negatives - too many effects - no real editing, just putting the pov to music - stuff that just didn't stand out - using the entire lift hill footage - bad, cutoff endings Positives - Creativity - using clips in ways we hadn't - NOT using the entire lift hill footage! - adding in funny bits

I think I know Robb's reasoning, as it is mine as well! SFDL's S:RoS has pretty much always SUCKED for us!!! I think they changed something after the guy fell out because it has never given us rides like SFA's has!

We have decided that we will choose TPR's top 20, and put those online for everyone to vote on. We would have liked to put all 40 but that would really have killed our bandwith! Plus a lot of the contest entries are VERY similar due to the footage so we will only choose the top 20. Thanks everyone, we should have some sort of update today!

We're not sure yet about getting to SFoG next year. Possibly, would be the word I would use at this point. As for POV requests, please ask for stuff like that in Ask Alvey, thanks!

Rent a car for the day, I can't imagine it would be more than $50. And you should be able to get a hotel in the area for about $70, or a bit farther away for around $60. As for the park, I'll probably be there that day if you want a quick 'how to' and some fastlanes. PM or email me!

I guess there's a mouse rumor? Oh well, honestly, I think they're going more for the 'family' thing. Heck when we were there, there was a longer line for the kiddie coaster than the looper. Oh, and the fact that the first drop is BRUTAL!!!!

I thought I saw a car back on it the other day? Didn't look rehabbed though, but did look better than being in pieces under Scream! I would have a hard time believing they'd just take it out since they customized Riddler, with that stupid bunny hill that provides nothing and makes the rest of the ride kind of dumb, just for freefall! Who knows though!!! I also didn't think they'd actually put time and effort into putting a coaster on the mountain! I can take some pix tomorrow if you're interested.

I wouldn't expect much of anything. From what I understand they CANNOT remove the OTSR's.
