  1. Yay, I get to bring up my long lost idea for my intamin hyper that I try and bring up once every few months!!! Captain America Intamin Hyper or Silver Surfer B&M Standup (Derek's idea!) Both in Marvel Superhero Island!!! Ok, done now!
  2. Busch seems pretty smart... They have a history of seeing how a ride performs before deciding to get a similar ride in another park. (ie why you don't see a wooden coaster at ANY other AB park!) If SheiKra does what they want, I can see a version of it appearing at BGW at some point.
  3. Are we sure??? He still could have thrown the mouse in the fire and it died there, while meanwhile the leaves were burning down his place!!! I want a full rodent investigation!!!
  4. Wow, part of me really wonders if this will go through. I could see it implemented for a week or two and then quickly being removed. One of the most ridiculous things about Knotts' Halloween event is that if you leave, you can't come back!!! What if I forgot something, what if I have to run out for a quick emergency, what if I do my normal plans of being there for opening, then taking a break somewhere else, then coming back at night???? How will they enforce this...they sell a ticket that's good at SFMM and SFHH...if you go to MM in the morning, then HH in the afternoon, can you not go back to MM in the evening?? This seems a little too complicated for the MM Staff to tolerate! I really see this not going through! Does any other park in the world do this? Lake Winnie has something like it I think?? MESSED UP!
  5. MircroFire, Both of those times are very busy at the parks. Six Flags Great Adventure has a system where you can pay money not to wait in line. At Cedar Point, make sure you have at least 3 days because it will be very crowded. I hope this helps.
  6. I saw this the other day...as much as I did like the end result, it did kind of bum me out that it's totally acceptable to write about a guy throwing a live rodent into a fire. I'm sure that if it were a cat or a dog, the guy would be in jail, but since it's 'just a rodent' who cares!?!
  7. That's awesome!!! I love that we're all sending everyone packages of random stuff!!! Can't wait to see one of these on the 'last beer you drank' thread!
  8. ^It's a park sponsored ERT coaster enthusiast event at Knotts Berry Farm. If you're not from the area it's worth it! ERT on all the main coasters plus lunch.
  9. Mummy at USF! I love that ride, and you'd get lots of rest during the dark ride part! Oh, and I'd do Expedition Ge Force in a second too!!!!
  10. ^Sorry, but I wouldn't drive down to Knotts, back to SFMM, back to Knotts, then back home again for ANYONE!!! Not even for my family or hamsters!!!!
  11. ^Do we call you lucky, or her unlucky???
  12. Basically Spring Breaks seem to start around March 6th and run through the week after Easter (Mid-April I believe this year). It's a busy time at the parks, but not as bad as major holidays.
  13. Are you JUST doing knotts? Or will you be heading to Disney, Universal, SFMM, etc.? Airfare will range between $200-350, depending on exact days and when you book. If you want to stay at the official Knotts hotel expect to pay about $100-120/night. If you want to stay at a cheaper place you can get a decent place for $50/night. Tickets, well if you're going for 4 days to knotts by a Cedar Fair Season Pass for $80. Are you renting a car or looking into shuttles?
  14. Wow, I hadn't heard about the fire there. That's sad! What is the final color going to be for the SLC? Is it that tan or is that just a primer? It looks kind of sad all beige and stuff! It's kind of peaceful walking around closed, or empty parks, looks like you guys had fun!
  15. Happy birthday loser...be nice to me and I'll make you dinner tonight! Love ya old man! Hey, at least you'll never be as old as Jeff Johnson!
  16. NOOOO!!! We can only have one Jeff "I count anything" Johnson on the site!!! Although you do both have the same last name...perhaps a long lost brother situation??? Awesome pictures, I love Sea World Orlando!
  17. I think we all just joke a lot, and we all secretly love Robb and he knows that!
  18. I hate to guess, since I didn't actually do it, but I would 'guess' $30-$35 each way. We took a 35 minute taxi ride from Hamamatsu Station to Hamanako Pal Pal park (because we were told the bus takes over an hour) and it was $41 each way.
  19. Here is their official information about prices and opening times: http://nasuhai.co.jp/data/list.htm When you scroll down to their hours, the first column tells you the normal hours for the month. The 2nd column tells you of any special dates, and the 3rd column tells you days they are closed. This is the information on how to get there: http://nasuhai.co.jp/data/access.html The bus is a normal city bus that makes a bunch of stops, that's why it takes so long. I would recommend a taxi.
  20. English...a little...
  21. I'm honestly going to be kind of bummed if this is true. I know it's not a big deal, but it was one of those little details I would always run up to and show people.
  22. I remember seeing this somewhere before. I believe it's actually a Japanese newscast, but that the accident might have been somewhere else.
  23. No way, it's all about Velveeta Shells and Cheese!!!! It ownz you!
  24. I believe one of the closest JR stations is Kuraiso. From there you can take a bus or taxi to the park. The park IS open in April but might close as early as 4pm. If you just want to credit whore the place you can probably be done in 2 hours. The park had a few other attractions as well (really good space shot), the coasters are good, but you won't need to reride the majority of them. Have a great time, let me know if you have any other questions!
  25. Would it be possible to have the big and small ones? I really like the detail of the big ones, but I kind of agree with some of the posters that the small ones just 'work better'. What does everyone else think? Wes, you do great work!
