Thanks for the information Shane. I certainly wasn't questioning you at all, just curious about the process of 'starting over' with a different manufacturer. Can't wait to check it out!
^^It's funny you mention that. We were talking on the trip about what's going to happen when those China companies start making knock offs of bigger rides like a Sky Loop, Intamin looper (both already done), or worse, a B&M Flyer, S&S 4D!?!? I don't think I could bring myself to go on those!
I think you pretty much have to do Japan. Especially if you have a week and a half once there. Hong Kong and Singapore are other nice Delta options in Asia but both do not have enough to keep you busy for 10 days. As Larry mentioned, Spain might be able to keep you occupied for 10 days in the off season with parks and other stuff to do, but really...go to Japan!
Everything you said is exactly correct.
Liseberg is a FANTASTIC park, one of the best in the world without any 'records'. This coaster will only add to it's awesomeness. Hope to see something fun like this at Magic at some point.
I cannot believe how much I love my new iPhone 5. I don't think I was expecting such a jump in quality, speed, and awesomeness but it just seems better in every way so far. Really happy!
Thanks everyone for your participation!
We have tallied up all of the votes...will take a couple of weeks off to relax, talk about the results, and will announce the 2013 TPR Trips soon!
There are a lot worse parks out there than Movie Park Germany. I hope they can break off from the struggling parks or find a way to keep expanding as it's really a nice park.
Yeah, I don't see us really hitting this up on our next China trip.
Also Jake, have you been on the upper deck of a 747? It's pretty tiny and cramped, not sure how well it will work for a bar and club.
^Sorry, must have gotten buried while we were away...
1. Two or Three most likely.
2. Most likely we'll suggest certain flights that would work well for you. Could be a group flight option like between the LeviaThon and Hotness Tours as well.
3. I don't see that being official, but you'd be welcome to do it on your own.
^It really varies greatly by park. Most stuff only runs one train cause that's all it needs. At the bigger parks, two trains would certainly help but I think we only ever saw that on the mine trains.
There isn't really a big hustle by ride ops to go quickly.
Sometimes the bus will pick up at an airport, sometimes at a meeting point, most of the time we start off at a hotel that has an airport shuttle so you can arrive, take the shuttle, then we all meet up at the hotel.
