I agree with others that this is WAY more exciting than Kong. Nintendo parks have been a dream of many for years and Universal could really do it justice as based on the effort and money they put into the Harry Potter areas. I'm already redoing the parks in my head to Nintendo! I see the rest of the Lost Continent at IOA becoming Zelda themed, the old and busted kids area at Universal to Pokemon, Marvel to Mario...oh man!!!!! Hulk Coaster can very easily be themed to Bowser!
I'm also assuming that Universal Japan will crap all over anything we would get. Perhaps the rumored 2nd Japanese Universal Park could be exclusive Nintendo????
Should be able to get Uhura today. No Kirk, and didn't spend more than about 10 clams total on the event. Really fun though and enjoyed it a lot even for not being into Star Trek.
WESH 2 NBC just had an interview with one of the Universal guys where he explained it would be a ride for the whole family with a 34" height requirement. Pretty sure that means it's going to be VERY similar to the USH Tram Tour version.
The Texas parks are okay for the 40 inch kids. Still nothing major but a decent amount of flat and water rides he can ride with you. If your son likes water parks Schlitterbahn is a ton of fun!
I really feel like Everland is capable of making a lot of money and providing some more rides for the hoards of guests that visit! Hopefully these little construction projects and rides are leading up to some bigger stuff.
As Robb said, 40" is a great milestone in Orlando so if he enjoyed it the first time I would come back and he can have even more fun!
I agree with everything else he said. At other parks you're still looking at a lot of kiddie stuff until 42".
I'm assuming we'll actually see something a lot like Cars Land at DCA for the new Frozen Land. A major awesome E-Ticket, two smaller support attractions, meet and greets, shops, food, and great theming. So yeah, basically take Cars Land, change it to Arendelle, and put it in Japan. It's going to RULE!!!!!
