  1. First off, you should never believe ANYTHING from that cruise law site. It's basically an ambulance cruise ship chasing lawyer who's messed up a lot of aspects of cruising for the average guest. Secondly, yes, I'm surprised they didn't make a bigger deal out of the slide but I'm sure there will be more news when they reveal more details about it.
  2. That was the first thing I said after Robb showed me the video!
  3. ^Wicked's line was over 45 minutes several times during the day when we were there with breakdowns and taking trains off and stuff. I know you're very passionate about your park but seeing it from a guest perspective can be very different.
  4. Treasure Hunters FTW!!!! And I'm glad you kept up with your Din Tai Fung credits along with the coaster credits. Yum!
  5. ^I'm not Robb, but I can tell you we really enjoyed Rainbow Magicland. It needs some more shade and maybe another attraction but we enjoyed it quite a bit. Over in Puglia those two parks were also very fun and had some great pizza food options!
  6. Hey there, First off, once again I find myself apologizing for the lack of public transport in the USA. I gotta say you're looking at a VERY hard plan with what you've found. To try and answer a few questions... Upgrade your SFGAd ticket/bus combo to a season pass and then that will include New England as well. Check pricing though as SFNE is most likely cheaper than SFGAd and it may not pay if you're only going to two SF parks. You cannot ask for a free flash pass. You can research handicap type passes at the parks (they all do it a little different) but it may be better to just buy the gold or platinum flash pass. Hershey's skip the line program is bad, but still worth it. Good luck getting their on public transport. I always advise getting the Quick Queue at Busch Gardens. There should be other deals out there not just for US Residents, or you may be able to print the ticket at one of your hotels using a US Address.
  7. I thought I've seen signs at some international parks that dogs were allowed on certain rides...maybe even a scenic railway but not any large coasters.
  8. I don't know what to make of this Springfield Heights thing. On one hand it's interesting, different, involves new gameplay, etc. but on the other hand I've already finished all of the tasks and now just always have things floating above my buildings unless I want to play every 30 seconds which is kind of insane.
  9. Has anyone gotten a ghost yet out of the portal? I've tried maybe 8 or 9 times and only gotten zombies.
  10. ^See I can't see that though. Elevators are at such a premium already on a ship (how many times I was yelled at or pushed when trying to take the elevator with KT as a baby is terrifying!) that dedicating an attendant and an elevator to a low capacity slide seems silly. I really don't think it's going to be as bad as people think. People already take the elevators wet from the pool areas back to their cabins or to a restaurant. If the slide lets off at the back of the Boardwalk and there are towels there, by the time you get to the elevator you won't really be dripping so much. Again, I just don't think it's as big of a deal as some people are making.
  11. ^That's the big thing all the cruise enthusiasts are complaining about. No one can figure out what they plan to do other than have a stack of towels at the bottom of the slide and wet elevators back up.
  12. ^I know. I'm really thinking about using the Nuke option. Has anyone done that?
  13. Kind of missed this yesterday but RCCL announced a bonus fourth waterside for Harmony. Here's the kicker... 10 Stories Tall!!! Not a lot of details but most cruise people are assuming it will go from Deck 16 near the Flowriders down to the Boardwalk on Deck 5.
  14. Thanks for keeping us updated, seems like we may actually make it to this park next year so it's appreciated!
  15. ^I actually totally agree with you about a family coaster at Sea World.
  16. ^No, not announced, pure speculation based on the IOA concept.
  17. ^You can hope, but the show building and area is already well under construction and there's no S&S Freefly. I do like the Freefly's though and I'm bummed they didn't sell anymore of them.
  18. Am I the only one who thinks that ShotRod sounds pornographic!?!?!?
  19. If Japan seriously pulls off this WHOLE thing being in a giant aviary with giant animatronics I'll be impressed. Not surprised because it's Japan, but impressed! If anyone can do it, this park can!
  20. Reminds me a lot of HKDL. Sure the attractions look better, but the surrounding hotels, the number of attractions, etc. Should be interesting to see how it does with the Chinese.
  21. The new Consuela vacuum option is pretty much the best thing ever!!!! I really hope Simpsons does this feature as well.
  22. Having trouble getting everything I need for Jerome's outfit. Peter being the only one who can get the dollar bills makes it tricky.
  23. No, the entire Animation building is going away as part of the GIANT Studios multi-year redo.
  24. We've thought about this a lot and done some tests and it just ends up being too much work. I love the idea of doing a little podcast or video cast or even a weekly chat but with our schedules so crazy it's just hard to commit. Robb tries to do random AMA's on the Facebook or Twitter from time to time and I think that is fun.
  25. I don't know if I like the look of it. Seems really modern for the seaside there. I'm impressed they actually got it passed through all the hurdles to build something like that.
