I don't see how this coaster announcement has anything to do with the bigger tanks. The bigger tanks were announced for Sea World San Diego first and then they said they would roll it out to other parks if it worked and made sense. The budgets for rides and animals are separate.

People are terrible. Universal putting metal detectors at the rides will stop you from getting hit with a lot of things but still not everything. I *HATE* that parks are having to do stuff like that but I understand it because of humanity. Glad you're okay!

KT has Hershey's Wildcat at the very bottom of her somewhat impressive coaster list. Even riding in the very front row it was quite rough last summer. I feel like for the most part they are not aging well unless a park really takes care of them. As for GCI being over, they're certainly going through a big transition right now and it will be interesting to see if they get a project in the US again soon.

Earlier June at those Scandinavian parks shouldn't be much of an issue. As we always recommend, get there before opening for the lightest crowds. I'm a bit concerned with your Late June UK parks, but most of them have some sort of skip the line program which you really may need.

^I got evac'd off the ride once about 50 feet from the exit platform. I was so mad! I wanted to walk through the ride and get some selfies with the Lava Monster!

September is usually the peak. Orlando USUALLY doesn't get hit hard, just may have a rainout day.

As someone who books many hotels I'd love to hear the story of why the Ibis (usually a decent go to brand) was so terrible!

Honestly, it's going to be bad all days. Between visitors, camp field trips, weekends, the holiday early in the month, more europeans later in the month... If you have ONE day, consider getting the Express Pass to avoid a lot of the lines.
