^What he said. During one of the activities there was a very annoying and poorly behaved boy. The teacher kept having to stop him from doing the wrong things and he was just distracting the whole group. KT came out of the activity and said "This is would every activity would be like in the US!" That being said, I believe we'll be experiencing two more Kidzania's this year in two different countries so I'm very intrigued to see how they are.

It would be very interesting for them to make the necropsy public as they do for many zoo animals in Europe but I can imagine that most americans would lose their mind if they tried something like that here.

^I completely disagree about public transport. Sure it's a better option than trying it in the US, but if he can rent a car that's much easier than trains and waiting for buses/taxis. Most of the parks don't have their own train station (or it's a bus/taxi ride away) and with an ambitious schedule it will be easier to have your own car. The only country in the world I would do public transport for a roller coaster trip is Japan and even there, there are times when you're looking at a $40 taxi ride to/from a park.

There was an update to the worker who was found dead in the Men in Black attraction back in November. He was electrocuted. OSHA is now looking into the accident to try and figure out how and why this happened.

A couple of things. White Cyclone is rough, but not unrideable. Just not that pleasant. As for the park being clean, that's ALL of the parks in Japan. You can't even find a trash can but they're all so clean!!!!

Yeah, I almost feel bad for KT! Flying Dinosaur was her first B&M Flyer and she pretty much started at the top!

Some of our Chinese friends we've met up with the last couple days keep apologizing for the behavior we've witnessed a few times. As with Americans, they're not all poorly behaved but some things are just crazy. Like the Disney security yelling in Mandarin to hurry up when they opened a new security line resulting in people pushing and screaming and falling! One of our Chinese friends couldn't believe they kept telling people to hurry as it's so unsafe and they could have told people to calmly fill in the new line instead. I'll also never understand the peeing in public thing when there are nice restrooms everywhere. I'm sure there are several cultures that feel we're super rude compared to them! (Looking at you Japan and Switzerland!) Oh well, we still had a great time and will certainly be back again!

This is sad to read as I really have enjoyed space world on all of our visits. That being said, we've been going to this park since 2005 and I don't think I've ever seen more than 150 people in the park.

The websites here aren't great, but certainly not as bad as what you're dealing with.

It's a good idea to put VR on this...not so sold on putting them on Kraken.

I don't think the new paint looks bad at all. I mean, they're painting it and maintaining it so I'm happy. Now if we can just keep VR off of it...

^^Terrible coaster enthusiasts care...and that's about it. They just keep living up to their stellar reputation. Whatever, the ride will be fun and I look forward to riding it with NON-coaster bitching people.

I actually moved this game from my 'front page' to second page on my phone and haven't played it for over a month. I think Family Guy is next as the games are just so similar, repetitive, and frustrating if you're not willing to spend money to rush tasks and get premium items.

We were talking about something similar to this recently. 95% of the people complaining about this probably don't even visit the park or intend to. People just feel they have the right to bitch loudly and online over EVERYTHING and it's really getting annoying. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all! And like others have said, this doesn't impact your day personally if you are actually at the park in ANY way so let it go!

From what I've heard some of the outdoor water rides are closed during the winter (or run limited hours) as it's in the 40's every day. The rapids should reopen around Chinese New Year in February. I believe Voyage reopens next week.

Pretty sure that Pokemon area is going to be quite successful.

Is this one of the most delayed/stalled/cancelled projects ever? If you had to bet on this opening or Houston getting a real park which would you put your money on?

You're not thinking big picture. Do you really think Disney is only going to put in 3-4 Cabanas and make them look temporary like this? Consider this a test for a MUCH larger, permanent roll out.

^Jet Coaster is the equivalent to our 'Roller Coaster' with the translation. To answer your other question, these coasters are all 25+ years old. Japan has been much slower in replacing all of their old coasters for new ones than we were in the US and Europe...and even the rest of Asia.
