  1. Wow, so far I would have eaten everything you have prepared. I'm not a big fan of some of the ingredients you have used but the presentation is so awesome I would eat it anyway. I hope the next time a TPR trip swings through Germany we can stop at your restaurant!
  2. They look like the magnets the control the read/write heads of a disk drive
  3. Bummer that you spend the time to go to thepark and the ride wasn'y open. Did they tell you why?
  4. Things just keep getting worse. Granite Park in Default The liens and defaults on this project are approaching $35 million now. The article does hold a little hope that the debt can be restructured. Maybe if that happens then more capital can be found to finish the project.
  5. Looks like some kind of clip.
  6. Grand Ole Opry last week.
  7. This thread makes me hungry and it is an hour and half until lunch! I love sushi. If TPR ever goes back to Japan Dave, I will gladly go get sushi with you. By the way, The first picture is blurry and with your screwed up eyes, does it appear clear to you?
  8. I have a collection of Star Wars soda cans. They came out with episode I A Long Time Ago ...... I probably have 100 different cans. I have the full set of 24 from the US along with the 4 Gold Yoda cans. Those you could turn in for $20 and get an air filled Gold redemption can back. I have that too. I have a set from Canada and some from Europe. The coolest ones are from Japan. Those are in full color. Kind of geeky but my son and I had fun collecting them. I'm currently collecting old Scout Manuals. I have the first printing of all the editions except the first. That one is going to set me back some serious $$$ when I find a copy I want to purchase. My oldest one is around 1920. They are a kick to read. So much has changed. Back then they would tell you when you went camping to cut down trees and dig trenches around your tent. Nothing like the "Leave No Trace" they teach today.
  9. Panda Express for two, $16.33
  10. Interesting on the idea of the dragons. Fans will pick out the two most popular. Your right about the painting. Those coasters will look so out of place if they are not painted.
  11. Hey, we all got stuck babysitting. It was your turn.
  12. I'm an Eagle Scout w/Bronze Palm. I look back and kind of regret not staying in a little longer, picking up a couple more palms, going to Philmont and the National Jamboree. I made up for a little of it as an adult. I was an Asst. Scoutmaster for 7 years I headed up the advancement for my troop and helped 30+ young men achieve the rank of Eagle. Went to the 2001 National Jamboree as an Asst. Scoutmaster and have earned my Woodbadge beads. Right now I'm no longer involved with the troop. Lost a lot of interest once my son made Eagle and moved away to college. I still serve on a Risk Management committee for the council.
  13. Specific parks or states is unworkable. The number of threads created is far to many. The logistics would be a nightmare. One of the problems I see with a single thread is the number of pointless posts occurring. Some one would post that they are going to CP and then there would be a deluge of posts by people saying they can't make it. It would quickly get buried. Just look at the threads where the TPR trips or meets are announced and you'll see what I mean. In the end, I'm not sure there is a good solution
  14. What we need is for CWJ to try one Gerd's recipes!
  15. I haven't seen the Academy Awards in over 30 years. I'm just not into a show where egotistical actors and actresses vote themselves awards. They are out of touch with the general population. How many of the top 100 grossing movies of all time have won best picture? Four! Obviously the GP doesn't know what a a good picture is and we need these entertainers to tell us.
  16. That looks like a blast. We don't have anything like that around here.
  17. All the cussing is waring a little thin. I give this show another year at most before it is cancelled. When half the dialog is censored out and they sit around after a service chain smoking, I think people will tire quickly and stop watching. Kitchen Nightmares is a much better show.
  18. I thought about that with them on my wrist they can be covered with a watch, and a "medical" bracelet!! ~Matthew I was referring to the guys who had the nice designs on their upper arms. Yours is plain and a few years from now you will wonder why you did it. Especially when you figure out Dragster is no longer your favorite coaster.
  19. I'll agree with that. When Bill was in the economy was good. Now that Obama is in it sucks big time!
  20. Some nice looking tats. But fair or not by getting a visible tattoo it will limit your job prospects in the future you know.
  21. No, more like quadruples it. With the ERT both morning and night you will get a lot of rides in.
  22. Yeah, why wouldn't a company take a chance on the new owners. It is a chance to regain some of the money they may have lost under the old owners. It's purely a business decision. If they can make money with the new company they will do business. I doubt the ride manufacturers lost a lot of money. They were probably paid with the bond holders money.
  23. I remember the first time seeing the people dressed up as Disney characters, we tried to be covert in picture taking. Then we figured out that they want you to take their picture and they pose like the character.
