I was on the train that broke down and had to be evacuated from the lift hill. Probably the best experience I have had at the 2 times I have been to Fuji-Q. We did get taken to the front of the line to ride Dodonpa which was a 90 minute wait by the time we got off Fujiyama and were given a front of line pass to Fujiyama if it was going to run later in the day which it didn't. We were able to talk them into using that pass to ride Dodonpa later in the day before we left.

Fuji-Q is a very frustrating park. With so much to do in Japan there is no sense in wasting a day there. The only way I would go back is if I had absolutley nothing better to do. Meat on a stick is great. I'm surprised they didn't try and give you back the tip from when we ate there a few days earlier!

Don't worry, Jeff Johnson got on and he is waaaaay older then that! I have been there twice and both times there were people in my group that were older then 54. Both times they were permitted to ride. When they ask you how old you are, look them straight in the face and tell them 53! The Japanese are too honorable to question a guest.

I can just imagine all the people seeing the show and wanting to go to the park only to find out it is closed.

Solace is on Knott's calendar for the 20-21 of March. According to an e-mail from ACE this is a change. They originally planned for earlier in March but there was a conflict.
