Shane's Amusement Attic

lol I guess there will be no grand kids because they neutered the "son" a couple of years ago! -
Things are not looking good for the park. An article was in the paper today and although it doesn't mention the theme park itself it is about the whole development. No visible work has been done on the site since last August and then it was to get the club open. With the club losing its brand it is questionable if it will survive. The club was open 7 days a week at first and recently went to dinner only, Tuesday through Saturday and that is with the Cabo Wabo name. The last I heard about the park they were going to open in the spring with 23 rides. Stay tuned.

Very plain, very short, very ordinary. -
I liked JP abunch. So much so I read the "Lost World" before it came out as a movie. I was so disappointed in it, it was nothing like the book. That is why I don't usually read books before seeing the movie.

These have been great updates and only one more to go. The on ride pic of me made me laugh. You have some of the best captions of any trip report. -

My palms are sweating just looking at those last pics. -
This would have been so much better if the leaves caught on fire!

I did. I have cable and the download only took a few minutes anyway. I passed it off that my computer was hogging all the bandwidth on the download and missing the responses from the website. Everything went back to normal when the download finished. I have had this happen before. I think the problem is on my end or the cable company.

I'm sure all the park chains have taken a look at HRP. It seems to me that a CF or a SF might buy it just for the rides if it is cheap enough. -

I hope that someone comes through and buys the whole park. But it will probably have to be a chain. They would have the capability to operate the park at little or no profit for a year or two until it gets established. -
Quantum of Solace (Bond 22) Discussion Thread
gisco replied to RIP Psyclone's topic in Random, Random, Random
I have to agree with some of what has already been said. Some of the action scenes where hard to follow. A lot like Bourne. I liked the film but the story was a little hard to follow. I was a little bummed that the movie didn't start with the look through the gun barrel and had that at the end. Where were the gadgets that make Bond, Bond and he never said "Bond, James Bond" Maybe I just like the old movies to much.
