  1. Where did you get that Triumph? I want one
  2. Awesome report. I remember going during the first week of December a few years ago and it was just as empty as your last day at IOA.
  3. That was hilarious. The funniest TR I've read in a while
  4. Coke Zero. It's about time Coke came out with a better tasting diet drink than Diet Coke. I loved Surge, it was too bad they stopped making it.
  5. Sitting in my recliner in the den watching Monday Night Football. Colts up over the Bengals 24-13
  6. There's really not much to it. Blue Bayou is the water park which has been there since the mid to late 80's, and Dixie Landin' was added a few years ago. I've been to Blue Bayou, but not Dixie Landin. This new spinning coaster could give me a reason to go next summer.
  7. Awesome report, as always. It's just making me look more forward to the midwest trip.
  8. It's a shame that we're losing it. It really was one of the better batmans out there. If it were only a repair job, why would they take out the top of the lift and some of the supports? Wouldn't the repair work be needed for pieces lower to the ground? Or maybe in the station? In my opinion, the park won't come back, but with that crazy lease agreement, I'm sure the city will put up some type of fight.
  9. My favorite is the Crime Donkey
  10. That was great. Thanks for the link. I heard he's a pretty good painter too.
  11. Reel Big Fish Tuesday night. It was the only show I've ever been to that didn't serve alcohol. Other than that, it was a good show.
  12. That sucks that LSU won't be in the Rose. I was really looking forward to beating Michigan or especially USC. At least now we can beat the overrated Irish.
  13. This is Wrigley, my Jack Russell Terrier.
  14. ^^^ That Reel Big Fish tour is coming here next week, so I'm looking forward to that. The weekend before Thanksgiving I went to the Journey/Def Leppard concert. I don't know many Journey songs, only some of the more popular ones, but I thought they were pretty good. Def Leppard rocked, the only problem was I dont' remember the end of the show due to my drinking. I do remember the good songs, though. Overall I had a good time. I had never seen either groups before.
  15. As much as I enjoyed going there, I just can't imagine it coming back at all. I've already resigned myself to the fact that it won't, but other than an official statement from SF stating otherwise, my view won't change.
  16. Awesome pics. It's really neat to see how everything was back then, and it's amazing the Matterhorn has been around for that long.
  17. This system is truly set up for ND, the most overrated team in the country, hands down. They couldn't cover a wet blanket. As much as I dislike USC, I've got to say they deserve to be in the game if they beat UCLA. I'm sorry, but Michigan just doesn't. USC had more quality wins, and that seals the deal for me. The Big 10 was weak this year. I still want a playoff system, and I think it's coming sooner than later. What I'm hoping for now is an LSU-Michigan Rose Bowl. These 2 teams have never played each other, and I'd love to see the Tigers run all over Michigan and put them in their place.
  18. Despite the fact that I don't like USC, that game this weekend was great. I hate Notre Dame even more than the Trojans, so it was nice seeing them get their overrated arses kicked all over the field.
  19. About that Florida title in 96( and I'm not a gator fan, by the way), were there any other 1-loss teams out there who were more deserving? I don't know, I don't have that info right in front of me, nor do I care to look for it. If so, then that wasn't necessarily the right matchup back then, but just because UF did get a shot, doesn't mean Michigan should get a shot too. If it was wrong then, why would it be right now? If that was such a problem, then the new system should try to change it so that it won't happen again. The system was even worse back then, so you can't equally compare it to now, although today's system sucks also. My only beef is that if there is another one loss team other than michigan, why not give them a shot? There is no REAL way of knowing who is the better team or who would provide the best matchup, because a lot of these teams don't even play each other. That's the whole problem with this system and debate. Just because Michigan only lost by 3 to OSU doesn't mean they should get the shot. How do we know they would beat USC? Florida? Arkansas? We don't. And I know OSU is #1, but other than Michigan and an inexperienced Texas team early in the season, who have they played? Nobody. There is not another team on their schedule even in the top 25. Now, I can't really knock them from #1 since they're undefeated, but how good are they really? You guys act like Michigan's loss isn't really that bad because it was only by 3, but although OSU is #1, they've only played 2 good teams all year. Hell, how do we know both teams aren't overrated? We don't, which completely sucks because I'd love to watch all these teams actually PLAY each other on the field. Damn, all this talk is making my head spin. It's just a completely bogus system, but just because UM played close to OSU doesn't mean they automatically deserve it, although I'm sure the voters will play a big role in that, no matter if it's wrong or right. Let's just let the rest of the season play out before deciding who deserves to play. There are a lot more games to go. On a side note, I'd love for USC to beat ND, lost to UCLA, LSU beat Arkansas, Arkansas beat Florida, so that way USC and LSU can play in a bowl to make up for not playing in 2003.
  20. If there's a 1-loss Michigan team and a 1-loss SEC team (most likely Florida), the SEC team should get the chance. I don't care how close the game is, the Wolverines already had their shot and couldn't pull it off. Where the game was is irrelevant. Someone else deserves a shot, not Michigan. And this whole BCS is just that, without the C. I just can't get excited about college football when it has the most ridiculous championship system in all of American sports. It's absolutely pathetic.
  21. Awesome report. I've tried to find local festivals around here recently, but I had no luck. One of the local breweries down here puts on a pub crawl, but there's not much until the spring. Looks like you guys had a good time.
  22. I'll be getting both the Wii and PS3, but my guess is that I'll be able to find a Wii first, so I'll end up getting that first. Plus the big downside with PS3 is that there aren't many games available. Once there are some games I'm interested in, then I'll pick it up. One more thing, a lot of you guys are complaing that the price is too high for a gaming system, but I think it's much more than that. Now, I don't plan on getting blue ray dvd's to replace my already large collection, but I think the PS3 will basically be a computer that you can play games on, listen to music on, download files just like a PC, and watch blue ray dvd's if you want to go that route. So if you factor in all those things, then the price really isn't that bad. I mean, it's not going to be a PS2 with better graphics, I think once it's out for a while and we can actually see the capabilities of it, there will be plenty to offer.
  23. Awesome update, maybe you guys will run into the Black Pearl. I need to go back on a cruise now that I'm legal.
  24. I didn't think the LOST clip was much of anything, but DayBreak actually kept me interested through the whole thing. I'm actually kind of surprised that I liked it, so I'll give it a chance for a few episodes and see if it can keep me interested.
  25. This is absolutely ridiculous. I put some of this on Fox for even attempting something like this. But it is all about the cash, just like everything else. Straight Cash, Homey!
