  1. I went to LSU for 2 1/2 years, then transferred to Loyola University in New Orleans. Both had their pros and cons. I missed the big-time college atmosphere of LSU, but I preferred the smaller classes at Loyola. I received a Bachelor of Business Administration, with focus on accounting. Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium is the best place to watch a college football game, hands down.
  2. LaunchPad! We need more LaunchPad! Wow, I can't be old for knowing who Friar Tuck is, right?
  3. I'm going to end up getting both, whenever I see one. I didn' pre-order and don't plan on waiting in line, but whenever I do see either one I'm going to get it.
  4. I haven't been on a flyer or hyper, but I went with Inverted. It was close, but the Dragons, Montu, and Batman outdid Hulk and Kumba.
  5. Great TR, glad you liked Epcot. I haven't enjoyed it as much as I should until recently, but there really is a lot there for you to see. Spaceship Earth can get a little cheesy, but it's pretty much the only thing that reminds me of the old Epcot.
  6. Great report and pics. Hope you guys had fun. I really want to stay at Port Orleans next time I go.
  7. Big Thunder at WDW. I had tried to get a last ride on Space Mountain, but it was down.
  8. I'm really gonna miss Eko, he was my 2nd favorite character behind Locke. At first, I was really upset, but later today I read that the actor asked to be written off the show. His parents had just died and he wanted to go home and direct a movie about his life. So while it really sucks to lose him, the producers had no choice but to write him off.
  9. To complete the Flaming Dr. Pepper, you top the amaretto off with 151 rum, then light it before dropping it into the beer. To quote Moe Sizlak, "It tastes like there's a party inside, and everybody's invited."
  10. Khaki shorts Long sleeve comedy central t-shirt Nike sandals
  11. Awesome trip report. I think that was the King, or should I say, the Queen of all Mullets. I don't think I've ever seen one that big. And I've got that same Epcot visor, only mine's faded. I try to find stuff with the old Epcot logo, but I never have any luck.
  12. Saints game is tomorrow. At Home. The Ravens don't stand a chance
  13. Being from New Orleans, I can hold my liquor pretty well. I was glad to make the festival, and now I'm gonna try to plan for it every time I go. BTTF was supposed to close early this month, but my guess is they left it open for the HHN crowd. All I know is I'm glad they kept it open.
  14. Congrats to the two of you. Soon there will be a baby donkey running around.
  15. Time for day 3. The last photo, Space Mountain with the lights on. Hope you guys enjoyed. Back to the food and wine for the chicken, which was supposed to have sugar cane skewers, but they lied. A pretty deadly game of chess This breakfast is also TPR approved Then hopped over on the Saints-colored monorail to MK for another breakfast, this time full of Pooh Nice and empty Woke up early the last day to get another ride on RnR and Good Tower, even made it for the rope drop. Do you think the big camera took a picture of my little camera at the same time? Back to Epcot to walk off all that food. Oh wait, yeah I can. I can't possible eat one more bite of it's Ohana goodness. . . After all that drinking, I needed some food. This was my first time at Ohana. And my last drink, the Octoberfest. Although I didn't get to meet Soren, which now makes me 0 for 2 Time for another Rosa Regale Which I promptly spilled on my shirt. Luckily, it came out. Time for the Sam Adams festival brew Ended up catching Three Dog Night too. Time for some Sake, which was pretty good. I found it in the Grey Goose lemonade slush. This was perfect for the near record heat outside. A white from Spain. At this point, I was looking to switch to something else. Up next was France, and another Chardonnay. Stellaaaa! Stellaaa! What I really was looking forward to, the Cheddar Cheese Soup. Coupled it with the Icewine. A bit too sweet for me. Next up was the Monkey Bay Chardonnay. Now for the main event. I started with the Rosa Regale My niece was ready for bugs For all you lift hill enthusiasts My sister and me in front of Everest. We managed to escape the Yeti unscathed Over to Animal Kingdom, where it seemed really crowded.
  16. Just got back from Orlando, where I got to experience the food and wine festival for the first time. I still didn't get to do HHN, but I did scratch the food and wine off my list. I went with my parents and sisters, and the only bad thing was the hot weather. Now I'm from down south where the weather is hot, but I didn't expect the 90 degree temperatures in October. I stayed at a Universal hotel for the first time, and thought the free express pass was well worth the extra price to stay there. It was only a night, then I moved to Old Key West, which is really nice, but the bus service isn't all that great due to the big size of the resort. Other than that, it was great, and I'll let the pictures explain the rest. Not sure why there was a big Pumba, but I'm glad I wasn't downwind. Next up, day 3, including the food and wine festival and Ohana There was a lot of fog in Caribbean Plaza. I liked the Depp animatronics, especially in the last scene. MNSSHP is Theme Park Review approved Lots of additional Halloween theming "What do you burn from witches?" "More witches!" We also did the Not So Scary Halloween Party. Stopped at the Kennel to walk the dog, didn't see Pluto though. Caught the stunt show for the first time. I'm amazed at some of the tricks they do. Over to the Studios for some good tower. There should be more of these symbols around Epcot. I had my family do the Beverly challenge. 1 in 6 liked it. I thought the Nemo ride was a nice little dark ride. Amazing effects. Soarin', not Soren. The next morning, we headed to Epcot for a Princess breakfast for my baby niece. Back to IOA, where I ended up catching this log at the right spot. Good bye 8-passenger DeLorean Good bye hoverboard Goodbye indoor lab theming Goodbye outdoor railings Good bye BTTF Entrance sign Once again, well worth it. Thankfully Back to the Future was open so I could get a last ride. Am I on the LOST island? Double the pleasure, double the fun Mandatory Hulk shot. It was running really smooth today. Once again The reason I stayed at the Royal Pacific - the complimentary back scratcher.
  17. wow, I don't know how I missed you guys this week. I was at Ohana Friday night wearing my TPR shirt, and the same chef from the Elissa picture asked me about the shirt, and mentioned someone was there earlier with the shirt and doney ears. I guess now I know the culprit. Great pics, it's a shame our paths didn't cross.
  18. Maybe he means the life that he comes to know now, whatever his beliefs may be. If that makes any sense. Tonight's episode was better than last week's, at least in my opinion. Lots of action, some more intrigue, and interesting backstory.
  19. It's really a shame that there hasn't been a Lion King attraction built, considering how big it was, and it happened during the "Disney Decade". There's always room in Fantasyland at the MK, but I doubt they would make it now, considering it was 12 years ago. It's really a shame.
  20. Saved by the Smell! Wow, this is. . um. . interesting, I guess. No matter what he does, he'll never be able to remove the tag of Screech.
  21. I thought it was great. "If we don't stop him, he could destroy the World. . . . . of Warcraft." I don't play it, but I do play Socom, so it was pretty hilarious.
  22. Wow, it looks like there will be some people there. I'll be down in two weeks for 4 days.
  23. I won't spoil anything, but wow. Just leaves you hanging for more.
