LA/Miami/NYC are a bit to vague to make specific recommendations, as it would depend on where you're going to be, and what you're planning on doing. The only general suggestion I'd make is to not cheap out. It might be tempting to book a $60 a night motel, but you might end up regretting it.

My PA Park Odyssey This coming summer...

Beware the very last seat on Skyliner. I think it re-arranged my spine a bit. Though it was an enjoyable ride other then the very back seat. -

If I remember correctly it's a good hour and a half about from Kennywood to Idlewild. Quite a bit of the roads between Pittsburgh and Idlewild/Lakemont are small and slower moving. Idlewild is close enough though to be done along with Kennywood in the same day. If you're at Kennywood for a couple days, a trip out to Idlewild wouldn't be too difficult to do. -

Themed to Footloose if I remember correctly. -
^ That's not too bad then. So like $150ish for the walk plus admission. It's not something I'd do often, but it would be a cool experience that you can't get just anywhere. Part of me thinks this would be easy to do. The other part of me thinks that I'm going to turn green when I step out on that ledge.

I would would want to see some solid construction before putting much stock in that rumour. The rumour of a floorless going to Wonderland has been going around for quite a long time. I can remember those rumours being thrown around pre Cedar Fair even. -

Looks like they did a good job on it. Brings back memories of riding the original Zippin Pippin. -

I can only hope. -
The problem in Australia was the lack of a mature rating option for video games. So any game that would generate a mature rating in North America would be banned, or modified for release in Australia. The worst was the Australia version of Left 4 Dead 2. They had to cut out all the blood, gore, fire, etc. It's pretty ridiculous. Like when you set a zombie on "fire" they run around like they're aflame, but with no visual fire.

I've played about half of the co-op so far, and it's pretty awesome. It's great to "accidentally" kill your friend.

How can you claim that the refs were against them during the 20+ years before you were born? There's no conspiracy against the Caps, and it's not the refs fault every time a game doesn't go your way.

The coach and/or GM tend to be the first to go if the team fails. Sometimes someone has to unfairly pay the price. Not that it would happen, but it wouldn't be the first time a Jack Adams award winner got fired. Ted Nolan got canned after winning coach of the year.

For the Leafs sake I'm hoping Buffalo and Montreal win those series.

Cedar Point Help

If you want a good part of town, don't stay in Sandusky. Sandusky is a pretty dirty sketchy town IMO. I prefer Breakers Express or the on-point hotels. -
I'd guess that he could get the remaining 10 games, though probably not much more then that. Trevor Gillies got 10 games in his first game back from a 9 game suspension. Not sure I can see Cooke getting more then what Gillies got.

I guess you've never seen what happens when you take a blow the visor, which can push the visor into the players face? A player doesn't have to be a dirty player to make a bad decision, resulting in a penalty or a suspension.

I rode this, though I have next to no memory of the ride itself. I do however have a perfect memory of the obnoxious screaming kids that were in line ahead of us. -
Can't really compare the two. Ovechkin's hit was a hit from behind. Chara's hit was from the side. It was just bad timing. It's too easy to blame the refs for every call that goes against your team.

^ It's all politics with Air Canada. If they want to walk away from millions in dollars in sponsorship and business, other companies will step up to take their place. The Westjet Centre has a decent sound to it.

League has already made it's ruling, no fine, no suspension. I think it really comes down to Chara just being so big and strong. If that was a play with a normal sized player, probably wouldn't have been as severe.
