It's far too early to say who/what teams are hot or not. 10 games into the regular season most teams are still working out the kinks in their system, not to mention the new folks are all working into their team dynamics. A few more weeks and I'd expect to see what the teams are going to look like down the stretch, but for now it is far too early to say who's going to be terrible and who is going to wreck everyone else.

Anyone know why Glee has moved to once every two weeks? Has there been any reason given? I figured it was a one time thing with Rocky Horror, but after tonight's episode they said the next new episode is in two weeks...I'm confused.

This will be the first year I haven't been to CP at least once. I really hate the economy. In fact, the only park I've been to this year is SFA - which is depressing now that I think about it. For those of you that have made it out for Halloweekends, is the fog from Corn Stalkers still rolling out into Maverick's course? I always thought that was awesome.

^I don't see why it couldn't work, I think it would just be a question of G-forces on the human body. Anyone know the math?

I don't think there is anything necessarily missing from wooden coasters. The best ones are exactly as advertised: tons of fun. They don't have to have special elements or unique features to be great. Just make it fun, stick to the basics. Gravity Group and GCI both have this down to a science. Besides, adding new elements to a coaster can have...unexpected results (see Son of Beast). My personal favorite wooden coaster would be The Voyage, so much airtime and constant speed, not to mention the use of terrain just make it a terrific coaster. Good luck!

I love my Capitals but they have been sucking it up lately. The only saving grace they've had so far this year is goaltending (ironic eh?) and pure firepower. Stupid mistakes, not moving their feet, and in general the team isn't meshing as well as the past few years. It was extremely frustrating last night to be in the crowd and watch give away after give away, off sides, hand passes, you name it. I'm really hoping the start of the season jitters wear off soon, because Neuvirth can't save their asses every game.

My emotions are so conflicted... I'm amazed that people can be so dense sometimes, yet I almost feel bad for the two of them...if they hadn't made such fools of themselves, and then I just can't stop laughing from this, yet slightly turned on by Prince Desmond. I found tonight's episode rather mellow...honestly. I'm used to the craziness that comes from the cast, I don't know if I like Glee tackling big issues like religion...it was awkward I think. Although Mercedes was rockin' out tonight!

^ I hope they can refine it further, but honestly I'm more interested to see what B&M is doing with it. If they can perfect the concept, I doubt S&S is going to be able to do anything with that market afterward. But if B&M doesn't...

I can only explain the policy, not the oddities found within the park Edit: Steve, have you ever ridden Disaster after a rain storm? Scariest thing I've ever done in my life.

Most of the coasters in the park can run in the rain as long as they can go down to one train operation. So Dragster, Maverick, Disaster Transport, and Wildcat are out if it rains, period. The rest of the coasters close only if there are high winds that would prevent the ride from completing its course, or severe weather conditions (heavy rain, thunder, lightning, etc.). Wicked Twister can operate because it has no problems completing its course in high winds and is a one train operation.

I'm not an expert, nor will I pretend to be. However I just want to point out the following: Point 1: If they're looking for volunteers to help dismantle and transport the ride they do NOT in fact have the money to do so themselves. Point 2: I've yet to hear about any names anywhere that have any sort of experience. Point 4: I'm not so sure they realize HOW big this really is. Its hard to look at any roller coaster and not see a large job, but I think they're going far beyond their means. As for giving them time to get it going the point has been said over and over again. There shouldn't be any 'ramp up' time on something as big as this. They need to have a plan, and they need to know EXACTLY what they're doing and HOW they're doing it. If there was a more permanent website in the works why would they be asking for volunteers to help them out with that? It just doesn't make any sense. You're asking me and everyone else not to judge them yet, but they've already completed actions and asked for help. When you bring a project to a public front you should expect to be criticized, judged, and otherwise viewed in a negative or positive light. No one is jumping to conclusions saying it WON'T happen. But the majority of us seem to think it has an extremely high chance of not happening. We're giving them benefit of the doubt, but not enough to give them money towards it until they prove us wrong.

The name doesn't exactly fit the coaster in my opinion, but the coaster looks great!

This was my marching band from my junior year in high school. Dunno if any of you all are familiar with Holsinger... We went undefeated that year, not our best performance but it did alright. I was in colorguard, I was captain the year before this. We had some management changes and I didn't like the new choreographer and almost didn't do guard again, so I lost my captain slot (which was find with me - I really didn't get along with the new guy).

I thoroughly enjoyed the new Maroon 5 album as well, not to mention their current single "Misery" is absolutely phenomenal. Plus the music video makes me laugh so hard. Reminds me a lot of my ex...haha

Just a suggestion: Windows on the mansion would be a good addition.
