  1. Does anyone know if the ride-ops on Bizarro are still stacking the trains obnoxiously; i.e. waiting for train 1 to hit the brakes before unloading train 2? If so, I will have words with Guest Relations.
  2. I've come up with a way to do a Silberpfeil a while back. It involves a diagonal lift, and is the source of a reproducible crash in RCT II. Could you try your hand at building a Silberpfeil?
  3. B&M: Iron Wolf. GCI: Gwazi. Intamin: Tough call, but I'm going to go with Cop Car Chase.
  4. I'm going to have to go with Cyclops's "The Drop". You know which one I'm talking about. EDIT: I also enjoy the Yankee Cannonball's "Hill of Three Airtimes." It's the bunny hill after the first drop, and it provides three pops of ejector air.
  5. I can name one chain whose business practices, involving mutilating the queue line of a certain coaster and then operating the coaster in a way that is clearly not the way it was intended to be operated, and on top of that, jacking up their prices to a level greater than some people's annual income, caused me to boycott them, but I'll leave the identity of that chain a mystery. Other than that chain, I wouldn't boycott any amusement park that I haven't gotten the credits at.
  6. Son of Beast just stopped the wooden coaster war all together. I doubt there will be another hyperwoodie ever built, it's just getting "too tall for a woodie". That reminds me... for a few days on AirCoaster (a NoLimits knockoff for iOS that, quite frankly, I should not be spending as much time on as I currently do), some puerile morons were trying to build a "giga-woodie." I think that that would be completely infeasible. Disclaimer: I do not own AirCoaster. I am not trying to sell copies of AirCoaster. Whether you decide to spend money on iOS apps is your decision and is therefore none of my business. AirCoaster is copyrighted by Ziconic. I am not Ziconic. I am not affiliated with Ziconic. I am not trying to sell any products or services. I am simply pointing out that 11-year-old kids with iOS devices tend to not understand what is realistic to build and having a little fun at their expense. I am not endorsing the concept of a "giga-woodie" either, as it is unlikely that such a thing could be structurally sound. Void where prohibited. Do not fold, spindle, or mutilate the animals. No cash value. All rights reserved. Common side effects may include drowsiness, headaches, and nausea. No purchase necessary. Your mileage may vary. Contents measured by weight, not volume. Some settling may occur. Batteries not included. Some assembly required. Not suitable for children under 3. Why are you still reading this? Seriously, go play outside. Thank you.
  7. I have a friend in Kentucky. He recently suggested to the Kochs that they build a Mega-Lite in Bluegrass Boardwalk. They said, and I quote: "That's not a bad idea." Granted, this is complete hearsay, but if Bluegrass Boardwalk does get a Mega-Lite, you heard it from me first. Again, this is just based on a phone conversation with someone who submitted a suggestion and got a response.
  8. Imma break this one down. Best first drop: Wood: T-Express Steel: Any Intamin Mega-Lite Best drop other than main drop Wood: Raven's big drop Steel: Riddler's Revenge's drop off the MCBR Best moment of Airtime Wood: T-Express's insane hill Steel: Bizarro (SFNE)'s bunny hills
  9. If I must... Then the prize for worst coaster name goes to "Spongebob Squarepants Rock Bottom Plunge".
  10. Personally, the worst ride name ever is "Lex Luthor's INVERTATRON". It's not a coaster (it's a Top Spin), but the word "Invertatron" is stupid IMO. As for coasters, I'd go with "Fantastic Coaster Rowdy" at Hirakata Park in Japan. It isn't fantastic, but it sure is rowdy...
  11. Try downloading my track "Cortisone". It's a B&M with some extra bits added that I wish B&M would do. I'm currently on hiatus due to my iPod dying, but I'll be back shortly.
  12. You're right. I was thinking of Santa's Village in New Hampshire.
  13. ^ lol. (Translation: "I find the above post to be highly amusing.") Update: Worst line ever = waiting for textbooks at MassBay. The line went through the bookstore, down the hall, and into the cafeteria. If I get in a line that long, there had better be an airtime machine at the other end.
  14. Just read in the globe that Santa's Land is closing for good. It had one credit, I believe. Not much was said in the article, but if anyone has memories of this park, feel free to share them.
  15. ^ Make sure to follow me. My Intamin woodie, Terrador, is currently on the first page of the Most Popular List. I can help you out with things if need be.
  16. If I had an unlimited amount of money, I'd bail out Greece, Italy, the US, and pretty much every other country, then buy Japan and South Korea. A better question would be: "What would you do with a trillion dollars?"
  17. The Bruins are on a nine-game winning streak; I especially enjoyed their 6-0 dismantling of the Islanders the other day.
  18. Pumpkin pie. Expedition GeForce or Bizarro @ SFNE?
