  1. Thank you. I believe that Mitch Hawker's poll is the most accurate out there, but is not optimal. If he split the ride clones up, then it would be more accurate; however, accepted policy is to rate your favorite SLC (to give one example) and disregard all the other ones.
  2. If we're doing both steels and woodies... The drop off the brakes on Riddler's. The pretzel loop (specifically, the dropping part) on Tatsu. Voyage's Triple down.
  3. Eagle Fortress is the kind of suspended that I would design... fast, intense, swinging like crazy, gets more and more insane as it goes on. This is what a suspended should be like.
  4. Okay. What you have here is a case of lazy developer. The creator of the SoB trainer reused the original Beast trainer help file. RCT1 supports a windowed format; RCT2 does not. Personally, I would like a 1680*1050 (or whatever my monitor supports) resolution.
  5. A few interesting moments... 1) School trip to Canobie Lake. The Yankee Cannonball breaks down while I'm on it. 2) SFMM... On Goldrusher, I sat in the far back. It completes its circuit (DAMN that helix came out of nowhere) and I a stay seated; I'm the only person on the ride. On the first lift, I turn around. The ride op is like, "Please turn around." The funny thing is that I pulled the same stunt on the first circuit and he didn't care. 3) On Tatsu, the train enters the pretzel loop. At the bottom, I realizer that in about five seconds, all the change in my pocket is going to fall 100+ feet. 4) My sister reriding Psyclone over and over. 5) On Mummy (at USH) my cell phone rings. I'm trying to explain that I can't talk now over the noise of the coaster. 6) Riding Scream. The op does his "Let me hear you scream!!!" thing. I'm the only person in the train; I say, "Whee" in a bored tone. The train dispatches, the ride op goes "The Wii sucks!" and I immediately yell, "The Wii does NOT suck!"
  6. Go download my Idylwild Beach workbench. A saved-game version (with a nice beemer) is available in the "Masters of RCT2 Challenge" topic. Idylwild Beach.zip This has the workbench as a moneyless scenario, as well as a money-tight scenario where every coaster must be researched (and in the order that they were invented, too, except for the Inverted Impulse. I screwed up there.)
  7. Sure. However, note that it does not work on short inverted supports. EDIT: By "short inverted supports" I mean supports for the following: Inverted, Compact Inverted, Compact Inverted Shuttle, Inverted Vertical Shuttle, Suspended, Mini Suspended, and Inverted Impulse coasters. If the track is on the ground (or as close as possible), then the support killer will not work. It works for everything else, and goes well with Toon's supports. Idylwild Beach.zip Here it is. Note that you will need AE's Dream Woodie to open it.
  8. I recently made a series of Raging Wolf Bobs-inspired coasters. Waterwings.zip Here they are!
  9. ^likes showers V Doesn't know who Laura is
  10. I'm not much good at RCT, but I'll give this a shot. Xtacy.TD6 Here's the track file. Here's my entry!
  11. Question. Are custom supports allowed? If not, that's bad.
  12. There are a few "support blockers" available. I have an invisible one.
  13. FLIPDUDE, the reason that Pinfaris are difficulty is because their diagonal track isn't 45 degrees from the orthogonal track.
  14. If I were the Six Flags CEO... First, I would order spare trains for star coasters. This way, when a Medusa train needs maintenance, the ride can still run three trains. Second, I would add single-rider queues to all coasters/tracked rides. Third, I would make the FastPass system more efficient. The basic FastPass (reserve one ride for one/two people) would be free. There would be deluxe FastPasses as well, which would be charged. ($10 for each ride reserved at once beyond one, $10 for each person beyond two). Fourth: retrack woodies every so often. Obviously, this would cost money. I might not buy new coasters for a couple of years.
  15. First coaster to feature a sidewinder: Dragon @ Ocean Park.
  16. First coaster to have eight inversions: Dragon Khan
  17. I'd like to see a strata (with a lift hill) that has a 120* drop. There is a NL track that does this, but I can't upload it because 1) it dates back to v1.26 and 2) it's not mine.
  18. Which file is missing object data?
  19. Sorry. I'll fix that tomorrow.
  20. No, you do not. Idylwild Beach contest 2.zip Here's a sample entry by me.
  21. Answers: 1) Theming can be done for extra credit. 2) The workbench comes with custom steel and wooden supports, as well as a perfect tile roof set. You may use your own scenario if you wish. 3) They can be anywhere you want to put them. By the way, trainers are allowed.
  22. We all love high-capacity coasters, right? Now, the highest-capacity coasters are at German fairs. Euro Star, Olympia Looping, Alpina Bahn... Well, here's a challenge. In a workbench provided, you may create up to four (4) traveling-style high-capacity roller coasters. The styles allowed are as follows: Looping (Schwarzkopf looper/nonlooper) Spiral (Schwarzkopf speedracer) Inverted (B+M inverted) Compact Inverted (Vekoma SLC) Floorless (B+M floorless) Corkscrew (Arrow/Vekoma looper) Each coaster must use blocking sections and run at least three trains. You are allowed to do the "top-of-lift" fake blocking section (cresting a hill, add a chain-lift) as many times as you like; I do that to run 7-train rides, so you should be able to. The rides will be judged based on THC, looks, and pacing. The contest ends March 14. Idylwild Beach.zip Here's the workbench. Custom supports are included, but they do not have to be used.
  23. I meant that a twisted drop would help with an inverted dive machine... sitdown/standup/floorless would work fine.
