  1. Yeah, I was going to start a thread like that, but the search brought this one up.
  2. My Theme song is Neverending Story by Limahl.
  3. I guess I fall under this category. I returned from an active duty deployment to Afghanstan prior to going on the TPR Japan/Korea Trip. Didn't spend all the much money while I was there so I had plenty left over for the trip and to not work for a while. My re-enlistment bonus is paying for next year's TPR Europe Trip, so I'm doing good for paying for these trips.
  4. Yes. Some jacka$$ pulled in front of me on a country road and I plowed into him at 50+ MPH. If I lay on the ground, would you outline my body with that piece of chalk of yours?
  5. Implosions aren't as much fun as explosions. Haven't had a chance to blow up a building, but I have destroyed many kinds of objects.
  6. Cheddar, Extra Sharp Cheddar, White Cheddar, Extra Sharp White Cheddar, Smokey Cheddar . . . Okay, so I like Cheddar . . . a lot. Although, I do like Swiss, American, and the occasional Monteray Jack. Once, while at the Tillimook Cheese Factory in Tillimook, Oregon, I sampled some white cheddar with cracked pepper. I'm not much of a fan of peppercorns, but I found this particular flavor of cheddar to be quite tasty.
  7. ^ Don't pawn your chores on me. < Some jobs are worth doing yourself (see avatar). v Hey, I got a favor to as of you. Can you please hold that target up so I can shoot at it?
  8. Only when I'm printing a manuscript. (It's a writer's thing.) Do you watch Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade?
  9. I remember talking about this with some of the others while I was on the TPR Japan/Korea Trip. It is not considered a credit, though I wished it did. I really liked the alpine coaster at Parks City, UT.
  10. I rode X, twice. More painful than the Mahattan Express. I rode the Japanese X, and it's even worse. I admit that the ride concept is interesting, but so far the actual rides themselves are not living up to the potential. Yeah, I know a lot of people like the ride, but think about it: if it's such a great ride, why has it not been copied many times like some of the other coasters? Why hasn't Six Flags cloned it like they did the Batman ride? That alone says something about it.
  11. You'd be surprise how many new writers are discovered during these strikes.
  12. ^ Coasters and Penguins. < Of course I worry about North Korea. Should they do anything bad, I'll get shipped there. v Will start World War III by leaving the toilet seat up.
  13. Yeah, by my 8 year old neice. For as young as she is, she's got the sarcastic sense of humor of a teenager. Got Turkey?
  14. I don't count coasters and I don't consider myself a credit whore. I ride the ones I want to and skip the ones I don't care about. Although, when I'm on a TPR Trip, I can certainly act like a credit whore. Hey, where else are you going to ride a kiddie coaster in an obscured place in another country you'll probably not visit again for a very long time if ever?
  15. No amounts of changes will make X better. The best thing they can do is tear it down and forget they even had it (just like Psyclone).
  16. NOT FAIR!!! I never had weekends off during Basic Training! ("Bootcamp" is a U.S. Marines term.) 24 hours, 7 days a week of pure hell from the Drill Sergeants. I swear, it's a game among them to see how many they can get to drop out! Anyways, good luck to you in your military service.
  17. Well, Brian? You already know the answer to that question.
  18. That's a nice pic of Robb on the Slope Car! I didn't realize that Gold Rusher was your 200th coaster. I'm sorry--that was such a painful coaster.
  19. I didn't care too much for Musical Circus. I had a hard time getting past that the rabbit reminded me too much of the book "Bunicula" (a Young Adult novel about a vampire rabbit).
  20. It must have been fate that we were so fortunate to have a front row seat to Splash Bandit. Or maybe somebody bribed the ride op.
  21. How about "Don't Push the RED Button"? I wish I had flown in a day early like a lot people did. I would have liked to have gone with the group to Hanayashiki instead of on my own (well, technically I wasn't since I was with Mike, aka miniviews). That coaster was fun, though I don't recall it a being a knee banger. Did you notice that one of the drops/tunnels was done up like the coaster was going through a women's locker room? That was really funny. I also got a real kick out those weird rides they had there.
  22. That's the clean version of what I said on X and the Japanese X. I was hoping I would never hear that joke again. Thank you for making me gag again.
  23. Yeah, Peter has shown me some of the pics on his computer, but I've been annoying him about posting so everyone can partake. He's annoying me back by not posting them. Honestly, if I had that many cute Japanese chicks following me around, I would want to keep them to myself. And I'm kicking myself for not hanging around with you guys that day--so yes, I am a bit jealous.
  24. If you smelled that bottle, there's no way in hell you would want to drink it. Just thinking about that is making me gag.
  25. Bill, I think it's funny how I keep bugging Peter to post the pics and here you and Mike are posting them instead of him. He's the one with all the pics!!! Your Top Ten list accurately describes just how great the Japan Trip was. I couldn't say it any better!
