  1. ^ I actually love that color combo and normally use it on coasters in RCT2. For me the worst is Iron Dragon. The ride just looks out of place and not sure there is a proper place for a ride that color. A close second is the Fairly Odd Coaster at Nick Universe.
  2. ^ Not after I shaved for the first time in 8 months < Wondering Where's the Beef? V Knows where said beef is
  3. ^ Dead right on not closing your eyes and defiantly watch the POVs. My other advise is to take breaks as needed and maybe hit some tame rides as well.
  4. i rode BB opening day and it was beyond cold. It was fun and cool to ride on opening day, but it will have to be near 90 to ride again. When people say you get wet, that is beyond an understatement. The people that shoot are what gets you wet, not so much the ride.
  5. Ah yes, Iron Wolf, AKA the nut cracker! My friend found this out the hard way, ouch! It's really bad on the final brake run, they stop the train really hard and *crunch*!!! As for the head banging part, watch out for the corkscrew! Don't forget the fact that it's sponsored by Corn Nuts! I have to get a picture of that crunch-o-meter sign! No longer sponsored by them. The ride is now sponsored by Miracle Whip. And the ads look beyond out of place.
  6. On Iron Wolf, I rode it last night during Coaster After Dark. My response after riding, other then how stupid the Miracle Whips ads all over the station, was that was my best ride on it, I only banged my head 3 times. If the ride was torn down, I'd pay Six Flags to help tear it down. The only positive is it does get long lines and keeps people out of the lines for other rides.
  7. I left the apartment for a grand total of 10 minutes today and heard people on the side walk talking about how SF Great America is closed for good. For reference I live about 15 minutes from the park. on the move itself, it's about time. It should not hurt their image too much. They already did an e-mail campaign about them staying open (weird part was I got 4 e-mails and 2 were SFOT.) Hopefully this ends well for them and many years of success.
  8. While waiting to get on Raging Bull, a kid was talking about how many loops it did. He then asked me how many, to which I said there were none and to look at the track. After the ride, the kid said to me "you lied, we did at least 4 loops." I will never figure out how people can be this wrong. Then again my fiancee has had high school students ask her, and were dead serious, where chocolate milk came from and also asked what is the capital of the US.
  9. It goes to pay per-ride. I only know this because I called about going there during the fair with my season pass. I was told Chang cost around $5.00.
  10. ^ I wish I had a dog < Just watched The Love Bug V Is a Shaggy Dog
  11. A Nikon D40 DSLR camera with a 2nd lense and other stuff from a package from Wolf Camera online - 549.95
  12. Incredible Hulk in 2002 - 2 and a half hours for front row Non coaster wise it would be Dumbo at WDW. Something like 3-4 hours on a June Saturday in the afternoon back in 2003. Problem with the line is once you are in, no way to escape.
  13. ^^ Nothing wrong with that at all. I do the same, but use a small Moleskine book to do with me at the park of every ride. I love stats, so it also gives me something to do at home in my abundance of down time.
  14. Viper and Demon at SF Great America. Close to 100 each and I've only been going there since last August.
  15. ^ Can drive < Driving to a Food Network event at SF GRa America V Loves chicken wings
  16. I know that pain very well. Just keep on sites like this during down time is my advice. Kept me into coasters when I was far away. And that electric coaster by you hurts...a lot.
  17. The back is great on the ride. i would defiantly take this over similar rides with the non-spiral back spike. Also the ride looks amazing with the beach and lake behind it.
  18. If you would like to trade, just PM me. I trade for just about anything theme park related. Heck, at Coaster mania i bought 37 pins. They were selling them 2 for $1. Amazingly, they had pins from Knotts, Worlds of Fun, Dorney and Valleyfair. Only CP coaster not to have one was Maverick, yet the ride has a patch.
  19. Wendy's for 2 tonight - 7.13
  20. 210 and I should have know the number of acres at WDW right.
  21. ^^ Looks like my place, but I tend to grab that many from every park. For some reason, I ended up with around 200 2009 Valleyfair maps from the guest relations office. I asked if I could grab 10-20 and they handed me huge piles.
  22. My county fair (Christian County IL) had bunnies as prizes from the late 80's until I stopped going in 2003. They might even still do it. They also had fish you could win and baby ducks. They also had a betting game where you would put a quarter on a color. Then they would spin a giant circle and place a rat in the center. Whatever color the rat ran into won a prize.
  23. Agreed with you (except headache was only 1 day.) I did not even re-ride the thing to take que line pics and I tend to take 1000 pics a day. That right there says something.
  24. Great TR. The shots of the wheels of the track are great. My one question for JZ is do you still use the D40 camera?
  25. Both parks are worth your time. I have visited both for the first time in the last 5 weeks. I agree with going to CP Friday and KI Saturday. Buy the Platinum Pass! You get morning ERT at both parks with the pass. It will also allow you to stay off site and save some $$$ on hotel. If you just plan to sleep at the hotel, go cheap and save.
