  1. I can get you one from IL if you need it. If you can wait until next weekend, it can be from SF Great America. Thanks
  2. This topic is a great one for a new member who is just out of college and finally able to afford trips. I will say, the fact I can now hit theme parks more often has changed my spending habits. No more 1-3 DVD's a week, eating out or random road trips. It is all worth it in the end.
  3. Before I moved by Six Flags Great America, I lived in central IL. While the people were not rich, the churches had a ton of cash. They also tend to go to the same places every year or two around the country. For them, this theme park would be perfect. While odds are I would not go, the park could very well become a yearly destination for youth groups.
  4. Went on the Little Dipper at Kiddieland in Melrose Park, IL on 9/21/08. The ride, and well park, are way better then I imagined.
  5. ^ I agree with the music. My first visit there was last month and what better way to welcome guest but with pop music on a carousel. On Buccaneer Battle, should be a nice addition to the park. If they actually cared about theming, it would be a bad location, but no problem there. It is nice to see another family ride in the park for the non-thrill ride fans.
  6. Before last month, it was almost 6 years for me from my visit to Holiday World in 2002 and last month to Six Flag Great America. Now that I live 15 minutes from Great America, my interest in coasters in no longer limited to books and the internet.
  7. Hi all. I figured this would be a great place for my first post. The only coaster that is gone that I have ridden would be Python at Busch Gardens Tampa/Africa. The thing I miss most about the ride was the ice cream stall next to the exit area (if I remember right) and their waffle cones.
