  1. To go with the others, you are going to want to add some driving days. I can tell you doing just this trip below Leave at 3 am, do 3 theme parks that day, sleep 6 hours, do another theme park, sleep 8 hours, drive 6 hours, do theme park, drive 8 hours Is insane enough. My advice would be to put in a drive day after the dells and maybe hit Kiddieland near Chicago in it's last season, hit Beech Bend for a few hours that night or hit Holiday World. Just don't over extend yourself as everyone get cranky and it ruins a good time. Ask any family that has blitzed Disney World for 4 or more day straight.
  2. Hey everyone. I hit some parks this weekend and got a decent amount of maps. 3. Holiday World is the best to me. On the flip side, the Papa John's at Six Flags St. Louis is both awful and way over priced. Something like 28 for a "large"(aka medium sized pizza elsewhere) that is actually an off brand pizza.
  4. Thanks for the advice everyone. I ended up going with WebzPro for 3 months to see how it is. So far, the customer service has helped me greatly and ultra fast. Now if only I can get the motivation to put in the work on the site
  5. ^ I actually did have cheese my last day of college 2 years ago (time flys) < Going through the maps I got the weekend for the map trade thread V Can find any US state on a blank map
  6. ^^ One other thing to remember about trip reports is Thrills in the Hills was this last weekend at Dollywood. That had to have taken a good number of people away from Freestyle Music Park that have sites with reviews and this site as well.
  7. I hate this damn town. Not only do the people suck, but screw the police here. My car has had 19 tickets for not having a parking sticker in 10 months...except I have one that is in my window 24/7. After filing a complaint about it, the proceed to fine me 100 for a sticker that was mystery stolen off my car. Add to that, the roads are awful.
  8. ^ Sadly no because.... < Just woke-up at 5am to drive 4 hours to Adventureland in Iowa from ValleyFair (thank you weather for clearing up) V Has been to Adventure Land in the Magic Kingdom at WDW
  9. Fun trip reports, I used your Como Town one for the weekend to give me an idea of the place. Amazingly, the park had about the same amount of people all weekend. Longest wait - 10 minutes for Xtreme Swing.
  10. In no order Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 - PC Super Off-Raod - SNES Super Mario Brothers 2 - NES Super Mario RPG - NES Super Mario 64 - N64 Grand Theft Auto San Andres - Xbox Kingdom Hearts - PS 2 Kingdom Hearts 2 - PS 2 Worms 2 - PC UFC 2009 - Xbox 360
  11. ^ Roo rules < Found a penny on the floor, but heads down V Was told to put their head down on the desk a lot at school
  12. The thing with Disney being an every few year place is, to most, it is. However, there is a very large group of Disney hardcore people that go at least once a year if not more. These people do add up to something important to Disney. With this group, as long as the employees are nice, you can leave everything the same. And to the general public, to do all 4 parks would be at least 7 days if not more. Most people go with the flow when they get there or do what the kids want. While there are some that us touring plans, that number is not that high. So you end up with a park like Animal Kingdom. The park would take maybe 3/4 a day for someone on the ball with touring plans. Having went there myself in 2000, I can tell you it is a 2 day park for those without plans. Heck, even with touring plans, Epcot and the Magic Kingdom are 2 days unless the parks are completely dead.
  13. Hey everyone. I am taking request for ValleyFair, Nick Universe, Como Town (if they have anything) and Adventureland. PM me if you want to set up a deal for any of those. Thanks
  14. ^ Has an hymatising avatar < Listening to 2 drunks argue what ethnicity is best V Likes Winnie the Pooh
  15. Mine is El Santo and Blue Demon looking dapper in their suits while trying to solve a crime.
  16. ^^ I am partial to counterfeit American. Always threw the rednecks for a loop where I used to live.
  17. I asked the same thing when I saw people over the age of 30 requesting it at the local library.
  18. This weekend maybe time for either Vickers on Montoya to get their first win of the year. Both look strong at the track and are starting 8 and 9th respectively.
  19. ^^ For workers in the park, just add more college kids to the Disney internship program or let them sign on longer. When I was in college, the pay was a full $1.25 less then min wage in Illinois (the gap is larger now), no benefits and had to do weekly reports for college credits, yet tons of kids went.

  21. ^ Problem with that is you loose the appeal of Disney World as a vacation destination. Remember, they wanted the indoor park in St. Louis at one point and also remember how bad Disney Quest failed. I am with most of the people here in saying they need to work on the other parks first. Personally, i would not mind a new country at EPCOT with a thrill ride.
  22. Thanks for the advice so far. I would love to hit SF Great America Monday, but the amount of driving Saturday means we need a day without much driving on Sunday (it is 7 hours there.) With Nick Universe, we just want to re-ride the coasters and do the flats once.
  23. Hey everyone. This weekend I am doing a 3 day trip trying to hit the parks of Minnesota and Iowa. My schedule is to hit Valleyfair, Nick Universe and Como Town over Saturday and Sunday. Monday will be spent drive to Adventureland and then home. So here are some questions i have - What order would be best for the MN parks? We have Cedar Fair passes, so can do Valleyfair both days. - Anyone know the ValleyFair season pass perks? - With Nick Universe, could we do the park in 5 hours on Saturday night? We saw they had a deal on the wrist band after 5 pm. We want to hit every ride and the coasters at least twice. - Are there any discounts or coupons for Adventureland? - Any touring plan advice for Valleyfair or Adventureland? At Adventureland we will have just open til around 5. Thanks for any advice.
  24. ^ When I went closing weekend last year, they were using the old go-kart track for parking. So i assume they own that or lease it as well.
  25. Sad to see this amazing treasure is closing. I went last year and fell in love with the place. Being able to ride the Little Dipper 20-25 times is a fun time. The park had a great train ride, log flume and antique cars. If you are in the area, hit the park. I can not recommend the place enough.
