  1. Exciting to see something happening! Looking forward to more progress.
  2. Great pictures! The bird ones are really awesome!
  3. Most people I know have never heard of Zombie Prom. I heard a couple of songs on a Broadway station on Live 365 and it sounded interesting so I looked it up, bought the soundtrack, and absolutely fell in love with it.
  4. Our local community theatre (which I'm on the Board of Directors) is working on putting together our 2011-2012 season so we can announce it in early 2011 (our seasons run from Sept. to July). We're thinking of doing Godspell, and so I've been listening to it a lot. Love, love, love it. Watched the movie for the first time this week. Victor Garber was so young and scrawny! I almost didn't recognize him. But he did an awesome job as Jesus. I'm putting my name in to direct Zombie Prom in the same season.
  5. Looks like a lot of fun! I'm not one for being scared, but would love to be the scarer. That would be awesome.
  6. I dropped my LG Cosmos in the toilet about 2 months after I got it so now I'm stuck using an old EnV because I have 14 months before I can upgrade again. I keep scoping eBay for a deal on a phone but haven't found a good one yet that I can afford. FYI: Take your phone out of your back pocket before you go to the bathroom.
  7. Awesome report! Highly entertaining.
  8. "Elissa actually tried to end my life." This update was freakin' hilarious! How many times did he say "shy" in that bus video?
  9. Not as bad as I thought it would be:
  10. Awesome report so far. Looking forward to more!
  11. I've also done these three. I was Mrs. Greer (the head housekeeper) in Annie, it was my second show ever; Crystal (one the doo-wop girls) in Little Shop; and a dancer in Wizard of Oz.
  12. Opening night went great! Thanks for asking. We had one mishap though: A newbie (never been on stage before in his life) had a chair collapse with him in it! But he covered like a pro and went right on with his lines and they worked it into the scene and made a joke of it. We were very proud of him. What an initiation into theatre! And yes, I've kept a running list of shows that I've done. I'm mostly a straight play person myself (as far as performing), but I do love a good musical and I do like to be in them from time to time.
  13. Dominate and Devastate, He'll blow you away, He's Big Mike, And he's here to stay! Head show stopper reporting for duty!
  14. Congratulations on getting Link! I'm currently in a non-musical, M*A*S*H, and we open tonight!
  15. The community theatre is the Theatre of Gadsden, abbreviated TOG. TOG got turned into Toggle.
  16. Looks awesome! Great pictures. Totally wish I could go to this one day. I don't think I would have the guts for a Slave Leia costume!
  17. Our awards show went great! I didn't win anything but the performances all went smoothly. Everyone said it was the best awards they've seen in a long time. We were very proud! Here's a couple of pictures! The ladies ensemble in Big Spender. I'm on the far left. Me (left) and one of our directors, Jenn.
  18. I'm performing in a Tony-style awards show for our community theatre this Saturday. I'm in the two group numbers (opening and closing songs): "Wilkommen" (Cabaret), and "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" (Spamalot). I'm also doing a female ensemble number, "Big Spender" (Sweet Charity), and I'm in a trio in "The Man I Used to Be" (State Fair). Should be a fun night!
  19. Wow...I would be totally terrified on those rides! Those are really scary looking! Glad you made it safely.
  20. Canyon Blaster at SFOG is fun and not too scary! My kids' first was the Wacky Worm at Lake Winnie.
  21. Really awesome pictures! I am fascinated by abandoned places. Just think of the history there. People lived and worked in these places, and look at them now.
  22. Danny and I watched Sunshine Cleaning last week. It was good. Wasn't exactly blown away by it, but a good story. And Amy Adams is just cute. Also watched The Road. Pretty darn depressing movie. Good acting, but depressing story. It ends on a good note, sort of, but pretty much everything else leaves you feeling pretty miserable about the world.
  23. Looks like a lot of fun! As to the bottle holders, I'd be afraid someone would drink out of it. I mean, I hate to think people would drink out of something a total stranger has drank out of, but people are crazy. I just couldn't bring myself to drink out of it again after leaving it unattended. That's just my germaphobia coming through!
