  1. "Fireproof"- Pillar
  2. Before washing the car tonight, I decided to enjoy a Troegs. Goes down easily, now to wash the car Hooray for HopBack!
  3. Wow, Joe is still around, that's awesome! Haven't seen you in a long time dude (since the R&E wedding I believe!) Thanks for doing this site as well, Joyrides was always great for looking at fantastic pictures.
  4. To me, the worst coasters and the most painful are pretty much the same. In my opinion, a rough coaster makes it a lot worse than something with the exact same design but smooth. That said, Hercules, Son of Beast, Rattler, and Gouderix are among the worst coasters I've ever been on.
  5. The only other parks in southeast PA besides Hershey and Knoebels (which really aren't southeast) and Dorney is Dutch Wonderland (home of 2 coasters, a junior woodie and a kiddie, and Seasame Place, home of a roller skater. Other things to look at in the Pocono area is Great Wolf Lodge (though you have to stay there in order to go to the waterpark) and Pocono Play Park, home of a kiddie coaster and some go-carts.
  6. ^Well then, good I'm glad I didn't waste my time flying across the country for non-Jarlsburg fondue! Robb, if you ever want that kind of fondue again, you know where to find me
  7. So, the final singing is tonight. Does anyone honestly care anymore? I haven't watched it since Chris got kicked off, mainly because I think Taylor and Katherine aren't that good and I really don't care who wins! Someone tell me when its 9:00 so I can go watch House
  8. The picnic area by Chiller is only for group outings AFAIK. You have to have a ticket to get into there. If you're packing food for yourself, you've gotta keep it in the car. I think there are some picnic tables outside the pack, both between Kingda Ka and the Safari, and over by the entrance plaza.
  9. No problem dude! I have some Wildwood stuff on a disc, but my laptop can't read all the pictures. I'll try it with the other laptop later on and post them if I can get them, otherwise they're on my other computer, which is now at my mom's house. But you'll get them eventually!
  10. Continuing with the DFH theme of the night, next up will be another vintage 2005: The Midas Touch! And she really liked it! Trevor is just happy we saved him a donut I figured Nan the "Wine-o" may enjoy it, so I poured her a little... Wow! How sweet it is! Its kinda like a mead wine meets an IPA because it has some hoppiness at the end It smells a lot like honey and grapes, I think it'll be pretty sweet Supposedly this comes from an ancient recipe found in the tomb of the infamous King Midas

  14. I'd rather have a closed ride than a long line. At least with a closed ride, you don't have to wait for it and can move on. If you went there specifically for a particular ride and it had a long line, you'd have to wait the whole time, just hoping it didn't break down. So, my final answer...a ride that isn't closed down on park entry, but that breaks down while you're in a long line for it! (ala Kingda Ka....3 hours, SAT on the train, broke down for the day!)
  15. Wow, who would have thunk Kansas would be growing so much in terms of amusements!? Guess I'll have to look into getting there in a few years.
  16. Hooray! Adam is still alive and drinking! Today is going to be another anticipated DogFish Head day! Ah! Much better when enjoyed outside on the patio Tastes good, but something is missing First up, the 90 Minute Imperial IPA
  17. How could you make Jarlsburg fondue and not invite me over?! I'm hurt, deeply, truly hurt.
  18. I recommend staying at the French Quarter. Its more secluded, has only 1 bus stop centrally located, and is always the first stop to pick up and the first one to drop off from the parks. (it shares its bus with the Riverside). Its smaller, but the same price as the other moderates, and not as huge as others like Coronado, so it won't take 10 minutes to walk to the main pool.
  19. ^That's what I'm hoping too! I'm intending to hit Voyage once during the day, then heading back later once the ride may clear out during ERT. In between that time I'm expecting to just do other random rides like Gobbler, the swings, etc, and then do the other woodies which should hopefully have less of a line, especially Legend. I'm bulking up for the 4 Corners of Death Bash Fest
  20. Not every B&M has that sequence. Keep in mind though that if you are going to have a big lift to have the momentum to get thru a big loop, you're going to need a bigger inline twist if you change the sequence, otherwise you can snap necks. Most parks like having extra space for future expansion, so they probably opt for biggest element first, then going smaller.
  21. ^Yeah, I can't imagine the gap will be that big, maybe only a few days, maybe a few months, depending how long it takes to transport him to China and then lock him up for random torture sessions. They gotta give the poor guy a chance to eat, sleep, and go to the bathroom; though if he has an allergy to MSG, it would really suck for him going to China!
  22. I've heard 900 signed up already, estimating around 1200 total for HWN. For Rumblefest, I'd guess around 500-600, but we'll see. Well, actually *I* won't see, as I'll be back on the East Coast, hopefully riding El Toro with far fewer people that Sunday! Hopefully Holiday World can handle the crowds, I don't know how many will stay the whole night, or how well the coasters will be at eating the crowds, but an extremely packed event is better than no event at all. I'd be happy with 1 night ride on each woodie, without having to stand in line for 2-3 hours to do it, even with my friends, its gonna be boring, especially when all my HopDevil is over chilling out in my hotel room across the street!
  23. ^Now that would be awesome! Just having watched the finale for this season, I'm really impressed with the way things ended and the setup for the next season. Hooray, only.... 8 more months until its on again!?!
  24. This will they won't they thing must be a trend for the year. First Conneaut Lake, then LeSourdesville, and now this. Glad to see this ride actually going to open, hopefully the other parks with confusion will turn out for the best too!
  25. Well, I'll be at Holiday World, but with the way things look as far as crowds go, you'll find me doing my beer thread update over at Santa's Lodge pretty much during the "ERTs". 900+ already signed up, yikes!
