  1. "Breaking the Habit"- Linkin Park
  2. That's awesome. Holiday Park really knows how to make things good, yet done right, and thrilling at the same time!
  3. Time for one of my favorite IPAs, definitely in my top 3 in the IPA world. Love the hoppiness, the citrus, and the alcohol finishing bite Stone IPA from San Diego
  4. ^well, he can try to camp out this evening, and he'll be one of the first ones to ride it when the park is opened for regular operations again.
  5. Found a few of these laying aboot, decided it was time to have another one before heading off to Canadia, eh. Sure hits the spot after a day at work The Alpha King, a nice citrusy IPA
  6. Whatever they replace it with, it'll be over parking lot. A Half-Pipe or that Zamperla Motocoaster could look nice in there.
  7. "Other Light"- Finger Eleven
  8. Sweet! As much as Smash Bros Melee was a hit with Gamecube, Brawl is gonna be one of the first titles I get for Wii. Thank you for continuing to rule Old School style, Nintendo!
  9. Yeah, as everyone said, just ignore it and be the bigger man. Play it off like your nickname doesn't bother you. Stick to applying yourself in your classes, and when you go off to college and have a successful career, you'll end up with the last laugh. Especially when you see all the "cool kids" still with their 1983 Trans Ams with original paint job while you're driving around in a Porshe passing the druggies who are now picking up litter on the side of the highway in a work detail for the county prison.
  10. I don't think I can do a top 5 beers, Adam. I can break it into categories like IPAs, Stouts, Weizens, Lagers, fruities, Belgians, seasonals, and others, but I really can't put them all together, much like I can't do it with wood and steel coasters, they're just too different. I guess my overall favorite beer would be HopDevil, of course, and I prefer many IPAs to other types of beer right now, but that's as far as I can go.
  11. I just may have to go out and get one of these when they come out. I won't be a first day purchaser though, but when I finally go to Best Buy and find one, I'll pick it up. Of course, Nintendo is usually much better about supply and demand than Sony or Microsoft. I got a Gamecube like a week after it came out with just casually strolling into the store to pick one up.
  12. ^Agreed. I liked "back in the day" when the new ride would open with the park for the season. Its not like they got a late start or anything with any of these rides. At least Goliath didn't open too much later than the park.
  13. I'm anxious to see the pictures of the TPR "Camp" versus the other coaster clubs "camps". It should be pretty entertaining from what I've heard!
  14. Awww, thanks for the vertical loopiness for me! That'll hold me over until next month! Glad you got to experience Stealf.
  15. Wow, if there ever was a reason to NOT watch the rest of the season, I think tonight is a good enough one! So, who will be the next American Idol, Mr Joe Cocker wannabe grandpa, goofy, or the pretty girl with a sometimes good sometimes not voice? So, does anyone know what other shows are on tv at 8pm on a Tuesday night since I won't be watching Idol anymore?
  16. If I'm not wearing a pair of shorts or pants with a zippered cargo pocket, I now make sure the cell phone cannot fall out otherwise (after an error a few years ago with someone else's phone). Another option is a beltpack, leaving it in the station, or physically holding it in your pocket thru out the ride to make sure it doesn't fall out. Then again, my cell phone costs $600, so I don't want to lose it! I do like having it on me though, to keep in contact with home and the people I may be meeting up with periodically throughout the day.
  17. Premier, Schwarzkopf, Gerstlauer, Giovanola, and now Intamin all use U bars. You'll see some changes with the El Toro restraints from the other plug n plays, but it won't hinder the ride experience.
  18. I know of a couple instances where the lapbar has popped up during a ride for whatever reason, but in every circumstance the ride also had a seatbelt so the passenger was safe. Not that the rider would have fallen out from extreme air or anything otherwise.
  19. It all depends on the ride and how well I know it. If its extremely thrilling I'll put my hands up, if its extremely rough I'll hold on. If its not really thrilling I'll usually just sit there like Dave Thomas.
  20. I've been too busy taking medication to get rid of the evil cold/ear infection I got from flying too much to be able to drink for the last couple of days. Apparently Heath was too busy drinking to post what he was drinking! You've gotta take a laptop with ya, man! Anyway, I'm glad to say that I'm feeling better and now down to only 3 meds, so I can drink again! Man it feels good to get back to the hops To celebrate drinking, its time for a Top 5 beer and a Top 5 Woodie, Thunderhead
  21. I always thought Kumba looked really cool, especially now with its redone paint job. All the GCIs also look really cool, using a lot of wood with big swoopy fanturns and stuff. Throw in chaser lights like Hersheypark did and its even cooler. I just love Midway America at night.
  22. I can't stand that show, but maybe its somewhat cool since they give mad props to Skully.
  23. I just stick it in my regular pants pocket. I haven't lost any of my cell phone yet. Zippered pockets, buttoned pockets, or just hold it in place while on the ride so you know it won't come out. Also try using the wrist strap and tie it onto your belt or something. NOTE: I said I haven't lost any of MY cell phones
  24. I'm not much of a big gamer anymore, but yeah Sony is pretty craptacular with the PS3. I think I'll go out and get the Wii and like 7 games instead of just getting the PS3.
  25. I still think its an Arrow Pipeline coaster. That Intamin track is just there to throw everyone off. They're going to add that piece and several others to Top Thrill Dragster so they can reclaim the height record. And I'd like to know where in the Cedar Point Fanboy Rule Book does it say "a log flume or any water ride must be over water. If the said ride is not over water, it may not be a water ride" Whatever CP is getting, I'm sure it will be a good investment and everyone will run out and ride it. I know I will.
