Started off tonight with a Blue Paddle Pils by New Belgium. I had a tasting of it over the weekend, but decided to divulge into a whole bottle today. Pretty tasty, very easy to drink. HopDevil, bringer of happiness Hadn't had one of these yet this week, shame on me! Quite easy to drink, very crisp and refreshing Blue Paddle (though the paddle isn't blue, go figure)

I never even HEARD of Batwoman before. Sounds a little odd, I don't know how many lesbians are into comic books. I guess the fanboys and college dudes may enjoy it though.

Awesome update, glad you guys got there this year, for preservations sake. I was going to hide in that ICE cooler and wait for you guys, but its unlawful for a human to hide in an ice machine in South Carolina. I think everything is unlawful there, except being a craptacular park, that's THE LAW!

On a side note, Bret's little boy, Conner rode his first coaster this weekend in the Little Dipper at Camden. Just shy of 2 years old, and he already has more teeth than most extended families in WV combined!

I thought I saw him recently in a commercial or something. Maybe it was a movie though, I can't remember. Sad that he's gone.

I enjoyed my visit to Waldameer last year, and think they could really profit from the addition of a major coaster. Steel Dragon is good and lots of fun, but its not really a "major" coaster. Granted, its better than Comet, but a full size woodie would be great!

I never heard an official number at either of the dinners, so I'm not sure. Maybe Paula has an idea. As for the wait times, Robb, I didn't really keep a good count, as I left my cell phone in the car, but from my internal clock, I never waited more than 30 minutes for any ride on Voyage. Now granted, I didn't bother waiting for the front seat or the back seat during ERT, but even the 2nd to back or 2nd from front wasn't more than a 4 train wait once you got into the station and figured everything out. I don't know what it was about the event that handled the crowds so well. I think it may be because both Legend AND Raven now also have 2 trains, as well as Voyage's 2-3. I guess that extra train on Raven helped wear people out more. Plus, keep in mind that it was EXTREMELY humid and lots of people wore out quicker because of that. And Voyage is a very agressive coaster, so I guess the lightweights couldn't handle rides long into the night. Whatever it was that made the crowds manageable, I hope it happens again next time. I was really worried about it before the trip, thinking I'd end up getting like 2 rides total, but Voyage's basement queue never got even half full, and Raven and Legend barely ever left the stations and never the stairs.

Tim, you're a total GEEK! But I agree (I think, I didn't get to analytical with my thoughts on Voyage, but I kept going "yeah, that's true, that makes sense") with your review on Voyage, especially how the first ride was kinda a dud, but by the end of the night it really blew me away. Too bad I didn't get to experience more of Rumbler, but there's always next year at the Con. I'll agree that its a fun ride and great for the park, but its just slightly below Thunderhead and OzCat. So, since I read and agree with what you say, I guess I'm a geek too. Oh well, it could be worse, I guess.

It was good to see you again too! I could hardly believe it was you when I first saw you, it took a moment to register! Glad you enjoyed yourself at Holiday World and Voyage so much that you decided to stay thru HWN and I got the chance to see you again. Good luck at UF. Behave yourself, enjoy the Leonardo's and Burrito Bros, and keep in touch with your future trip plans. You'll be closer to the parks, so maybe we'll see you again on future trips down there.
